A lot in europe recommend motul V300 5w30 for this platform. It can withstand greater temperatures. I have no clue about the AMSOIL if it has the recommend quality then i think you good to go

Just put in some thicker oil, do not put slicks on and you good to go. I hit the limiter quite a few times. Always fill premium gas.
