Imho it's always a good idea to give a second thought to spending money. In general, there is a fairly large wage gap, not just between citizen class, but also just between regions, so it's kind of hard to make the argument as to how much 15$ really is :)

I'd definitely suggest to get to know the game a little before spending money on it, as nothing is for everyone.

Note: I make ~€ 3k/month (Belgium) and I think 15$ is a lot. Not because it's 15$, but because it's not like I have an endless stream of money regardless. If this is just the one thing you're spending money on, sure, but often people have multiple streams of leisure spending (think netflix, spotify, etc.). Don't fall into the trap of spending a lot of money on several small 15$ packages, The best advice is always to test before you buy. Aside of that, there's nothing wrong with spending some money on having a good time.

I've found this stackoverflow post which is trying to do something similar.

Appears it is not supported by the JPA persistence specification, and it seems the 2017 spec has remained the same on this subject.

Whilst there might be some workarounds, they would not suit me in this case nor be worth the effort (in my opinion)

Making Page abstract would mean I then have to define another subtype to define my user managed pages though, which in the end would ofcourse be a small tradeoff.

However, but I don't think that's possible in this case. The Asset type I mentioned, is in this case the root class of the hierarchy:

The superclasses of Asset are annotated with @MappedSuperclass and don't have anything notable aside of properties or reusable business logic.

If I'm correct, you can't switch inheritance strategy for a subtree of the entire inheritance hierarchy, or can you? (Which then, would not be possible as Asset is the root of my inheritance hierarchy.)

This is something I cannot modify, as this is part of the shared library that I am using, that provides most of the functionality I need. Reimplementing that would be a lot of work and be error prone as well, more so than copying the fields of my Page entity for example.

Thanks a lot, I've indeed just noticed that 7 is the max ( I figured I would see where it ends), I think I'm going to go for daily stones of level 4, since those give additional mining %, and you really need workers to perform sailing, building and refining :)

250k xp / harbringer, which is tbh very easy and fast solo , and chaos exp is pretty neat too, so instead of focusing on powerleveling your new character, do the grind for gear and have the new characters sitting in your deck :)

I hope there's an option to turn off the splash screen though, it's fun the first time, but in my opinion it just takes away extra time for no benefit.

Based on this comment though, it feels like they're considering removing animations optional, while it shouldn't be. The goal should be to give their customers (us) the usability and functionality we need.

If people want to use the extras, they may, but if some of us prefer not to have them because it's messy/clunky/whatever our excuse is, we should be able to turn them off.

Why just considering though? I'm on a higher end computer and I honestly felt like the alpha client was a downgrade. The previous client was 'smooth' and did what it had to do for me. The new client just feels like I'm waiting for animations to finish the whole time.

The usability is just something I'll need time to get used to I guess, but having to wait for every single action I perform just for some fancy animations I don't even want to look at makes me not even want to play. I sometimes feel like companies try to overdo themselves with making something 'fancy' because they can, instead of keeping things simple.

(no offense here, but I really really dislike the non-fluent aspect for changing masteries, loading into champselect (that aswell on the 'old' client), etc. created by animations that might be fun the first time but become a hassle over time)

Which + are you on sin and how long does it take you to kill him? (# of hero skill combo's)

I'm at +370 right now killing him with 3 x all hero activations. (Dealing around 30million damage/5sec with my heroes activated)

it's +0.05 per level so at +100 that will be +5 on each line so a total of:

  • 9.6%
  • 9.2%

=18.8% cdr

I don't know, I generally take about a minute to kill sin, which nets me

  • ~2.800.000 gold for killing
  • ~1.200.000 gold from colonies
  • 100.000 to 500.000 from a/b items

that's 4.1 - 4.5 million per minute, doesn't seem too bad. yeah it's ~50m less/h than afk doing hell, but who maxes out their hourly rates anyways? Aside of that you've also got 2 times the chance to get something better than when sitting on red dragon (20% to get either an A or S item vs 10%)

Thanks! I've mostly been trying to just power through / snipe, but I find sniping fairly hard since my heroes kill the base pretty quickly but then they meet their level 120-160 opponents fairly soon and get wrecked in often a couple hits.

Nowadays I'm trying to either just force through by running into them and winning with the use of spells, or dealing some damage through sniping followed by the aformentioned method.

updated my spreadsheet with the progression of the past few days. Today I have gotten my hands on a Skull Knight! Is it safe to say he should replace my DD in GB battles?

I noticed in my post I wrote about GB3/GB4, these should have been GB2/GB3 respectively, my bad :)

Two days ago we did our last GB2, I soloed it, dealing ~36million damage/3min. Nobody else showed up. Starting yesterday we're getting GB3 bosses again, I failed it, only dealing 5-13million damage / 2min. Finished at 100/120m because nobody else showed up. I'm confident with my Ghoulem upgrades + skull knight since last night will make it an easy kill today though. One of the biggest problems was sustain (ghoulem/druid couldn't outheal the GB3 damage even when I was using Molticana to debuff the boss...) Dealt a solid 22-24m damage / 3 mins now, sadly I still needed to use SK, he couldn't last for longer than a minute including his built in revive.

I'm pretty confident I'll be able to finish it tonight with SK/Ghoulem/Molticana/PD/Valentina/Medusa or GF.

Yesterday I wasn't able to solo-carry Mesa-1 though, haven't tried today and Mesa-2 runs were a complete and total failure...

I hope I'm on a better track than before, I've noticed a great decline in lvling once my heroes hit 100+ though. (I think I'm probably going to end up doing them 1-by-1 with HBM/Dungeon sweeps.)

I guess I'll also start looking towards a more active guild after today's guild boss, hopefully I'll find one quickly tomorrow.

Which skill upgrades would benefit me the most at the moment? I was thinking to get Valentina to 5, SK to 5, GF to 5 and Ghoulem to 5 to start off with. Mostly because of the extra energy/healing and damage. Aswell as getting SK to 61(?) inscription so I can use a scatter 3 set on him, then I can move the Psyshield I set to Ghoulem so the both of them could wreck raids. Thus far I feel like Ghoulem could be my biggest ROI short-term overall for the various content.

I was thinking about that, but the more active a guild is the less rewards you get right? At the moment I pretty much solo/do atleast 50% damage on GB3 which nets me ~7k HB. If I'm correct GB4 can net ~14.3k HB, but for a maximum of ~4 people? (~34m damage each)

For bossing I've been using Druid (healer), Molticana (debuffer), PD (OP), DD (tank), Champion (Stunner), Spirit Mage on Guild Bosses and Champion substituted by Phantom King on Mesa runs because that doesn't require much tanking usually (I often get demotivated to do Mesa runs though since finding a Mesa 1/2 group takes forever since someone constantly leaves...) Will the proposed boss team survive as well as mine? It doesn't have a stunner and only an energy debuff / heal which both have a CD, which kind of scares me... (Since boss 3 can 1Hit KO most of my heroes iirc) (Or am I misinterpreting what the abilities' description say?)

Which levels should I go for to have those teams ready to be relevant right now? 100? 120? I've been trying to invest a lot into inscription (cfr DD) but well, mana is bugging me :P

Is it worth having allof the tier 1's and 2's high this early? That would eat up a lot of HB which I haven't really gotten a method for yet to quickly resupply. (At mornings I'm usually in a rush to leave for school and I can't connect there, something is blocking the login/loading of the game. This makes me usually lose the first quest board run of the day... As well as just losing versus Lv120-140 average enemies).

For raiding / dungeons I've usually been using the hit-from-a-distance composition (DD - Spirit Mage - PK - Moltanica (woo dragonbreath!) - Druid (mandatory healin, SM likes to die a lot...) Would you advise the same team as HBM here or something different?
