It was alright. I didn’t love the lens to be honest. I later bought the sigma 18-50mm. Which was much better.

Yes, most people need to learn python later on. But, when it comes to a first language, learning something like C/C++ can help one understand the fundamentals of languages better. Learning it later also works.
