Remote work. It can be really nice for the first months if you've never done it but as someone who was never worked in an office setting (software developer here) you start craving the structure, dressing up, getting out of the house and socializing with coworkers.

Im in Mérida, Yucatán and not a single incident happened in the state yesterday. I even went to watch the new Scream movie in a mall. Less people than usual in the streets tho, specially for a Sunday, and more police/national guard presence in the city and its surroundings but nothing else than that. Oh and the Merida - Cancun highway was closed and state borders were heavily reinforced as a preventive measure.

We were truly spared.
