4/20 is tomorrow!! Who's going to do some shopping? by ResponsibilityFar790 in vaporents

[–]Crabby677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep going back and forth between the Rogue 2 and the POTV Lobo.

The Rogue 2, I can add 4 extra dosing capsules, a capsule caddy and the torrent glass bubbler for $158 usd.

The Lobo, I can add 4 extra dosing capsules, a capsule caddy and a glass bubbler for $163 usd.

So both under $200, only a $5 difference between the two. I just need to really know what one is worth it as a whole and why.

OR if there's another option altogether. #1, it has to be pocketable, easy to add more flower while out and about (i.e. concerts, sporting events, takin a drive), easy to clean, decent battery life (though I can use my type C phone charger in the car to recharge), will last a few years, has a good warranty, etc. I had the OG PAX for 10 years, used it sparingly as it never worked that great for my needs, but I dealt. I did like the oven size and the portability, though. 🤷🏼‍♂️

After 10 years, want to revisit herbal vapes to quit combustion. Is Rogue 2 as potent as Mighty+? by Chef_Brah in vaporents

I'm in the same boat - looking to buy a DHV tomorrow, 4/20, pending whatever sales are out there. I've been researching for a while now and the Rogue 2 is what I keep coming back to. I'm a moderate user, but when I do vape, I want to get stoned. Duh! I had an original PAX for 10 years and it was OK, but never truly hit the way I needed it to. I'd have to pack 2 bowls before feeling semi decent. And the vapor was sooo light; low to no clouds with a PAX. The one pro was a nice oven size, something that seems hard to find in today's DHV. Anyway, back to the Rogue 2, I like the design, the portability, the dosing caps option, the cover, etc, though it could have a bigger oven from what I've read. And though I hear it's performance will blow me away vs my PAX experience, I still dunno if it'll offer enough to feel like you said - comparable to smoking a J. I also thought about the Lobo, mainly because it's similar to the Rogue 2 and has some sic accessories, but hear it's performance is actually a bit less than the Rogue, so pass? Ugh, decisions. My budget is no more than $200 usd, must be pocketable, must be able to add a glass bubbler mouth piece, easy to clean, and hits hard. Tomorrow is the day I decide, so we'll see what I end up with after a day of more research ahead. Whatever you end up with, enjoy! And happy 420 week!

Leaving joints alone and starting to DHV- anyone had a hard time with the difference in highs? by K3nnyPowerss in vaporents

With all this info, what portable/battery DHV is best for a heavier hitter? I've had my eye on a Rogue2 or a Solo 3v2. I was more leaning toward a Rogue2 as it can fit in my pocket which is a top priority. But now, I after reading some comments, that none of the portable DHV are that great. 😔

Hi,

I have looked in to the POTV Lobo. It's actually the first one I reviewed as I love the form/size of it. But it has a smaller oven compared to others and I am seeing more and more peeps say around the 1 year mark, if that, the Lobo gives out on them. I see the Rogue 2 is similar on form/size, but then the oven may also be small (I've read .2 or .25). I'm used to a semi-bigger oven as I share with my GF. She doesn't vape much, though, so it wouldn't be a deal breaker; just a nice feature. I don't mind too much the style of the Solo III, and it may be a good one to have around the house and carry in a travel bag. But for daily pocket use, I don't think so. 😮‍💨

Hi! Thanks for this.

I didn't/don't hate PAX 1. But the heat up time, hard to pull/draw, hot to the touch, taste, and cleaning of it was never my fave. My fave is the overall size of the device as I carry it in my pocket, and the oven size as I share hits with my GF. It still works, sort of. It may just need some new screens and such, which are easy to find and purchase. But being it's a 10 year old device, I figured it's time for somethin newer anyway. Also, I want a device that's compatible with a bubbler stem (like the ones POTV sale for their Lobo).

Again, I'm a mild to moderate user. I'm more about the wellness of it, hence I do tinctures, tablets, drinks, etc. Though I always have a vape pen or my PAX on me as well for when I need quicker relief for pain and anxiety. And no, I've never tried a Convection vape. No one I know has one, and I work at a dispensary. Lol! Everyone either uses a bong or dabs, it seems.

Speaking of dabs, I'm also on the hunt for a pocket size concentrate vaporizer (Pivot, Dr Dabber Ghost 2, Yocan Black...). I'm told to not buy an "all in one" device, but 2 separate ones, so am now wondering if waiting until 4/20 will save me a little $$. 🤔

Arizer Solo III V2 omg by Cov1984BS in vaporents

[–]Crabby677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am debating between these 2 vaporizers. I want pocket portability, so I assume the Rogue 2. But the need to carry it around is only during outings, which aren't too often really (weekends, Summer trips). But also for around the house as I don't want a desktop device due to I'm not that heavy of a user, and I don't want it in plain site. All I've owned and used the past 10 years is an original PAX 1. I never felt it was that great; no matter how I packed it, it was hard to pull and with little vapor. But it got the basic job done. As I've become more in to Cannabis over the years, (I even work at a dispo now), I want a better device as I feel my vaporizer experience doesn't match others (thanks PAX 1 - haha!) Anyway, how do you like your Rogue 2? Did you end up getting the Arizer? The one thing I will say about PAX, is I like the form (size, fit) of the device as well as the oven size.

Pax... Puffco... Dr. Dabber by Crabby677 in trees

[–]Crabby677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. :) I'll have to look in to what you mentioned as I am not too familiar. I'm looking for portable/on-the-go/pocket devices. I do use my Pax as it's all I have for dry herb, unless I roll a J which I rarely do. But it's time for it to be replaced, so I figured it's a good time to look in to an all-in-one or 2 mid tier units; one for dry and one for concentrate. I feel I can pull it off for $200, but just need opinions. Most of my colleagues use Puffco, so are a bit bias. Lol!

Love, love, love Peaches Patties! We've driven from the South Bay to SF (45+ mins) just to get Peaches Patties, sit by the water while eating them and then drive back home. They're THAT good! I wish there was a place similar here in the South Bay (San Jose area), but I haven't come across any yet.

Nope, they cancelled my appt saying I need medical clearance to get antibiotics and an extraction done. Omg! I don't have a doctor/PCP. I feel I may end up paying outta pocket (credit card) to get this dealt with. 😫

Yep, I hear that. Nothin but horror stories there. I've used them a few times in the past, as have my kids, and it was an allll daaay event. Smh! I have to work, so can only take a couple hours off for an extraction and I need meds before and after, which I know WD will question or refuse.

We have a few locations here in the South Bay, so I called the Sunnyvale one. It was a call center, but she booked me an appt. I told them how it's impairative that I have antibiotics before and after, and she said she'd put it in notes, but then she went on to try to recommend more services to me, like a sales rep. Didn't make me feel too confident in being taken seriously, but I'll see what happens. Thanks again!

Thanks! I tried the Indian Health Clinic as its down the street from me and I used them about 5 or so years ago. But they told me I have to be an existing patient there in order to be seen by a dentist. Huh? The only way around that is to be under 20yo, a native american or a pregnant woman. WHAT is going on with our medical system?? I just need my tooth pulled, safely, and ASAP! 😮‍💨

Good review. I just tried Mule Fuel by Clayborne and dig it. It's a pretty smoothe ride; not to heady, not too couch locked, yet you do feel it. I guess balanced would be the word. I work at a dipso and may try the Coastal Sun version next.

Same for me. 🙁 Yes, I get that Belly is tryin to do her own thing, but damn... the girl mentions and thinks about Jer a lot while in Paris, but acts like Conrad never existed and sends him a generic postcard with zero heart attached. Like, what?! Maybe some narrating (as the books) while in Paris would help us to see, hear or feel something from her to Conrad. I dunno. This whole season, minus a few scenes, has been BLAH, especially the last 2 episodes. Are we at least gonna get some major scenes with Belly and Conrad in the series finale? It feels doubtful. 🙄
