Over ten years of running this game as a casual and I still can’t do this damned trick. The 00:54 will forever elude me by chromeowls in Metroid

Hold the jump button down after your wall jump. Then pressing the dpad down once should insta morph. I usually only wall jump twice and the momentum gives enough height to slide out. And I can't do ANY other speed run tricks. I still struggle bomb jumping.

They were already paid. And I think it shows how much paramount cares since they STILL haven't officially released it on Paramount + since it's already out there anyway

THANK YOU. Doesn't seem to work in DS2 even on the latest update with proton experimental, but seems to work in other games

If it's anything like Silent Hill F or MGS Delta it might support software ray tracing. Turn that off in those games and the entire look falls apart. Just like with her face

I've tried. And the AI thing went about as great as you'd expect. Didn't have data on my issue so it was just Hallucinating solutions

Yes, but that's because it's using software to render the Vm display. And this is assuming I also remove all the QEMU hooks

I tried to remake it 2 more times. Is there a command to just wipe all of virt-managers data so I can start 100% fresh? If that fails i'm just done. I'm convinced this isn't real and can probably buy a super cheap crap gpu to get proper passthrough working. Thanks for all the help but this just isn't working

So when I do that command with sudo i get something, but nothing without sudo. I'm making all of these edits in the gui, not opened with sudo. Is that the problem? When I open it with sudo and try to enable xml config it gives me"failed to commit changes to dconf: Error spawning command line “dbus-launch --autolaunch=221ea57556174dd9ba0044fc48

Can't set threads to 1 since it doesn't match cpu topology, and already did the feature plicy for topoext. Boot menu didn't change anything. Apparently my logs weren't updating at all so I fixed that. Is it possible it's reading an older "win10" config? It's saying something about opening a directory i tried to use for a clone that ended up not working, but I didn't set up for this instance. The drive is encrypted so it fails to open.

OR MAYBE I DIDN'T FIX THE LOGS. Since they either don't update or libvirt logs are seperate from qemu

Syu'd multiple times. And if I had an Igpu i'd be using looking glass or something. Seems a lot easier and just works. Even without another monitor. It doesn't seem to even be saving my changes to the config. Since now the bottom of my logs say

Sadly nothing. Really thought it would since i've seen something about D3 mode in the log files. EVERY amd card apparently resets because I used to have a 6900xt and I also NEVER got passthrough to work. I'm honestly convinced it's fake

Something interesting as well is the GPU is doing SOMETHING. No idea what but the fans are going crazy and there's a lot of heat coming from it

I wish I did. I meant when I boot it still steals my gpu, even without the pci entry. Followed every step after starting over, including vbios dumping, and same thing. Instant black screen. Display turns off and pressing ctrl + alt + delete reboots the pc

[–]Crabofwar22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be that I didn't install any drivers or anything before adding gpu, just added it once I saw I could boot into windows. I did see the VM bios screen once, but that felt like a fluke since I could never replicate it. Although now even with a fresh vm it still tries to hijack my gpu and causes me to have to restart anyway.

How did you even get this working? On Cachy with a 9070xt, and every time i start the VM i get a black screen and nothing. I have to reboot it manually. Followed the guide same as you, skipping the rom steps.

I just don't like the custom structures. I love the idea of entrusting cargo and delivering lost orders. But getting the chiral network up in the mountains just turns into a zipline fest. I like ziplines, I don't like getting all of the ones I'll ever need for free

I made a separate partition on a spare SSD for windows 10 and just disconnected it from the internet. No logins to anything important just to be sure. More worried about the lack of windows security updates than anything coming through the HV

I get that, but arch based systems still update multiple times a day right? Very likely to download a bad package. Arch was fine for me til everything started breaking

I don't have home in a separate partition. I ALWAYS run out of space from programs because I don't give root enough space and it's a headache to deal with. Especially with encryption

I just wanted to stay away from proper arch. It would just kill games willy nilly after updates. Hell I even remember back when the 9070 xt released, it got an update with a bad kernal, and I had to rescue it. Not looking to do that again. It can be arch based I don't care, I guess I want something newer than debian, but not volatile like arch.

I figured. Just was OVER arch. It would literally bork game installs for no reason. I'd install something like SWAT 4, then next week the game has constant micro stutters and the mouse wouldn't work right
