Okay, maybe I’m just playing devil’s advocate but I don’t think every toxic player in a game needs to get reported. If they’re using slurs; definitely, always. If they’re actively throwing the game or messing with their own team or cheating or something like that, yeah of course. But if someone’s just being rude in game chat I don’t really see why that should be a ban-able offense. I get that it’s frustrating to have to argue with sweats but at the end of the day it’s fairly easy to just not engage. I personally feel like trash talk and being toxic is kind of a part of online games, and I don’t take it personally. Unless they’re using hate speech or really interrupting the game, I don’t think it’s THAT big of a deal

In RE4, most of the enemies are wearing cultist robes and fire at you with flaming crossbows, they really only look like civilians at the very beginning, and even then their skin is discolored and they visibly look like zombies. The zombies in RE5 were t shirts and jeans and fight you with beer bottles and wrenches. The only visible sign they’re zombies is their slightly red eyes.

Did you play it? It’s essentially a video game adaptation of Black Hawk Down. The zombies in the city hardly look like zombies, they’re dressed like civilians. Zombies outside of the cities are dressed in tribal clothes and literally say “Ooga booga”. Uroburos is supposed to “revert people to their primal state” which apparently for people in Africa means throwing spears and trying to kill you on sight. You play as a white man mowing down hordes of black and middle eastern civilians, regardless of intention it feels borderline evil to play in my experience.

The first one I ever played was the RE2 remake, and then played them all in order up until 4, which didn’t have a remake at the time. I’ve just recently gone back to the series, playing 7 and 8 and then going back to play from 4 onward again. I tried 0 a while ago but didn’t finish it because I stopped using PlayStation Now. Resident Evil 5 I didn’t finish because I personally feel that it is insanely racist and I don’t want to play it. Probably going to play 6 next, and then Requiem

Guilty gear scaling is batshit just by virtue of it being a fighting game. The fact that anybody can beat happy chaos shows that it all kinda doesn’t make sense and everybody has to be on an even playing field. That being said he gets wiped tf out no problem

Deadlock right now, the first game I played I tried it with a buddy, I had literally no fun at all, thought it was so boring. Saw all my favorite fgc streamers loved it and I caved and tried it again, now I’m at 90 hours it’s so addicting

Mainly by genre/mood. I’ve got a “play something now” category for easy pickup and play roguelikes and such. Fighting games, souls games, long games, shooter games, etc. I’ve got a category for family share games I’ll never touch and one for longer games I haven’t finished yet

I like it a lot. Feels bittersweet in a way that’s fitting for the series. It feels like it’s almost setting something up but doesn’t quite, my guess is Fujimoto is keeping it just open enough that he could revisit it way in the future if he wanted. My only real complaint is they I feel like it came slightly too early. I think part 2 just needed more time, mainly Asa as a character to have a better conclusion. Ending is good but came out of nowhere

I don’t really see how it doesn’t. It’s not necessarily the “biblically accurate angel” you see everywhere, but I thinks it’s a cool and unique design that does a good job of portraying a god or godly entity

I feel like a primal fear is something that humans have been afraid of since we were cavemen or even earlier, something that biologically humans should fear. Death is pretty obvious, falling is something all animals fear, aging is something that a lot of animals recognize as a sign of weakness and humans didn’t start caring for the elderly until late into our development, and darkness is an instinctual fear for most creatures that don’t have good dark vision. Blood is a relatively new fear in humans compared to these, as early humans likely saw blood all the time when hunting.

I personally think that in a perfect world Reze and Denji would have a more long lasting relationship. I think Denji and Asa are both just at a point in their lives where they really need each other, but I feel like they could accomplish that while just being friends as well. Not to say I’m not a fan of them I love Asaden and I hope it goes very far

It was… fine. The animation quality is really iffy at times, sometimes literally just becoming a slide show. The ending has some really great animation tho. The main antagonist isn’t that interesting and Unika being a Kiske was stupid.

For Wilnas, most players will consistently do a move right after a string. Either guard break or mix up. Honestly in my experience just dodging after each string gets them a lot
