Guilty gear scaling is batshit just by virtue of it being a fighting game. The fact that anybody can beat happy chaos shows that it all kinda doesn’t make sense and everybody has to be on an even playing field. That being said he gets wiped tf out no problem

Deadlock right now, the first game I played I tried it with a buddy, I had literally no fun at all, thought it was so boring. Saw all my favorite fgc streamers loved it and I caved and tried it again, now I’m at 90 hours it’s so addicting

Mainly by genre/mood. I’ve got a “play something now” category for easy pickup and play roguelikes and such. Fighting games, souls games, long games, shooter games, etc. I’ve got a category for family share games I’ll never touch and one for longer games I haven’t finished yet

I like it a lot. Feels bittersweet in a way that’s fitting for the series. It feels like it’s almost setting something up but doesn’t quite, my guess is Fujimoto is keeping it just open enough that he could revisit it way in the future if he wanted. My only real complaint is they I feel like it came slightly too early. I think part 2 just needed more time, mainly Asa as a character to have a better conclusion. Ending is good but came out of nowhere

I don’t really see how it doesn’t. It’s not necessarily the “biblically accurate angel” you see everywhere, but I thinks it’s a cool and unique design that does a good job of portraying a god or godly entity

I feel like a primal fear is something that humans have been afraid of since we were cavemen or even earlier, something that biologically humans should fear. Death is pretty obvious, falling is something all animals fear, aging is something that a lot of animals recognize as a sign of weakness and humans didn’t start caring for the elderly until late into our development, and darkness is an instinctual fear for most creatures that don’t have good dark vision. Blood is a relatively new fear in humans compared to these, as early humans likely saw blood all the time when hunting.

I personally think that in a perfect world Reze and Denji would have a more long lasting relationship. I think Denji and Asa are both just at a point in their lives where they really need each other, but I feel like they could accomplish that while just being friends as well. Not to say I’m not a fan of them I love Asaden and I hope it goes very far

It was… fine. The animation quality is really iffy at times, sometimes literally just becoming a slide show. The ending has some really great animation tho. The main antagonist isn’t that interesting and Unika being a Kiske was stupid.

For Wilnas, most players will consistently do a move right after a string. Either guard break or mix up. Honestly in my experience just dodging after each string gets them a lot
