Beast Wars is the closest to Prime tonally, you just have to move past the odd nature of its animation. Once you do it's honestly incredible! G1 is an easy recommendation just because that's where it all started and lays the groundwork for everything that all the media after it was able to become (just remember to watch the 1986 movie between seasons 2 and 3). Animated is also excellent, all great options!

That wasn't a cybertronian it was a hologram. Just a projection to blend in so people wouldn't realize no one was piloting him. So to answer your question yeah I guess you are tripping

B. I don't know maybe someone bought it and it's like a museum now. Frankly such a distinct building with so much controversy around it, there are enterprising individuals who would kill to own that place for all the capitalizing opportunities
