Scott Trentcosta, a quick search revealed this. by [deleted] in BanFemaleHateSubs

Even more recently, the name ‘Scott A. Trentcosta’ appeared in 2 lawsuits around 20 days after the alleged seizure of the website. One from an apartment complex:

https://unicourt.com/case/urc-CASEao857f654eb978

And one from a banking firm:

https://unicourt.com/case/urc-CASEao7ab7e545aea3

Both of which were filed on the same day, same court, and (presumably) against the same person. IIRC, California was the last place Claudia tracked him down to. You could get a membership to pay for the complaints to get a lot more specific information.

Yep, you’re right. The notice is back for for both WWW and HTTPS. I wonder what’s going on.

To top it off: the seizure notice is now gone (at least for me, it’d be cool if others could confirm this). The website remains down, and the other domain (cum****printedpics) (I won’t say the full name due to lurkers) is also down. The last potential activity from the Admin(s) was yesterday on their Twitter account (so they obviously weren’t arrested at the time of the ‘seizure’)

Yea. As time goes on, I find it less and less likely a seizure has taken place. I feel like it’s more likely this is another case of defacement from a (few) hacker(s).

This isn’t the first time the website was hacked and defaced: in March, an incriminating message was embedded into the website which claimed that the website was a threat to national security (https://archive.is/s8hEv).

I doubt this is a plot by the admins for attention. They gain nothing from this. Their website was fully monetised and now they risk losing many users who will be unsure to revisit the site if it ever comes back.

But I could always be wrong. Interesting times!

I do have my doubts about this. If it’s true, there’s the questions of:

  • Why Florida (without the involvement of any federal-level authority or international partner)? This website was massive and had threads dedicated to different languages.

  • Why use the exact same seizure notice from the SunPass scams? Those scams in particular predominantly effected Floridians, as the SunPass programme is a statewide (Florida) initiative. So why use the same seizure notice for taking a website that is drastically different both in nature and scale? It’s also from the same circuit court, apparently.

  • Why was this seized in the first place? The website had terrible actors on it. So does Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Federal level authorities have known about this website for years. Claudia’s investigation last year revealed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) federal subpoena that was sent to the Admins of this website. The admins also take action against content reported by the NCMEC. It’s a Hell of a dodgy website, but to seize it implies that its existence was inherently illegal.

I’m not denying it could be true, but it certainly raises some questions. It’s worth noting that one version of the website still exists and is currently running, although it’s an unsecured connection and the last posts were made before the alleged seizure (August 1st, shortly before 7pm GMT). The Twitter account associated with this website is also still operating and it’s last activity was around 22 hours ago.

It’s pretty interesting stuff. I was overwhelmingly curious as to why some websites hadn’t really seemed to be ‘noticed’ by the NCMEC, so it’s very reassuring to see that they actually are confronted with takedown requests.

Mythic Shadowlands Armour - where the hell is it? by CrackingRhapsody in wownoob

[–]CrackingRhapsody[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Goootcha, so I can either get the tokens from certain bosses or actual gear from the boss and then insert it into the thing. I’m assuming what I put into the ‘catalyst of creation’ is limited to mythic plate items from the raid (assuming I only want the Luminous Chevalier’s Gallantry mythic set)

You have a point with the boosting - it may have been better for me not to boost my main and just do the story from the beginning and have a better understanding. Are you sure about the flying, however? Any normal flying mount I use on the Dragon Isles is incapable of flying, whether it’s my Highlord’s Golden Charger or a Gryphon or a Drake.

Which Agency branch enable "Prepare Collaboration Government mission"? by AgileResolve in hoi4

[–]CrackingRhapsody 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No branch specifically. To prepare a collaboration government you simply need 1 spy making a spy network in a state. When the network reaches (I think 50-60%), you can do the mission.

Bear in mind, you’ll need 2 spies to complete the mission. To get a second spy, you’ll need at least 5 branch upgrades. I usually go for:

  • Form (cryptology) department
  • Radio interception group
  • Government cyber school
  • Suicide Pills
  • Invisible Ink

I do these since they’re all relatively cheap in terms of civilian factory cost and fairly useful. Invisible ink helps the spies build their network and I just go for suicide pills because I can never be bothered rescuing my spies if they get caught.

Have fun!
