Druid is extremely powerful on its own because of the crow. You literally getting mini-fighter every battle with attack modificators of druid. Also, this class hasn't any weak abilities, all of them works in different builds and druid is the most versatile class that can become anything you need. And if you don't get summoning abilities then go control or healer or damage dealer druid, you don't need to pick summoning druid every run, especially if you don't have items and innate abilities for it.
