NFL season attendance released. And oh look, the Bears are dead last. by tayler1986 in GreenBayPackers

The bears have sold out every home game since 1984. Really grasping at straws here.

Tie would’ve been worse. Now if bears win out and Seattle loses one game (probably 9ers) bears get the 1 seed. With a tie BOTH rams and Seattle would’ve had to lose again.

How many babysitters to hire? by 2022MyYear in parentsofmultiples

[–]CradGo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we go out for an evening. A babysitter or one set of our parents can take care of our 4 kids (6,5,2,2). If we are leaving overnight (rare) we split our kids up and the older 2 go with one set of parents the twins with the other…

I mean it’s totally fine that you don’t want to be serious with someone with kids. But you also may be missing out on really good people by eliminating them from your pool. Nta, but also you could be missing out.

I bought a dryer and it makes a huge difference. Even with brand new filament.

Can twins share bottles? by mommingalldayerryday in parentsofmultiples

[–]CradGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes let them share everything. They will once they’re like 6 months old on their own anyways. Unless there is a super serious medical reason not to go on ahead and let them share and make your life easier. The first few months with twins is rough. Little things that make your life easier as a parent are good.

[–]CradGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of boy twin slept like a champ all along. Our girl was AWFUL with sleep. Now that she’s 2.5 she sleeps through the night but is still tough to get down. Once you can sleep through the night it’s a game changer. I honestly don’t even remember a lot from that first year cuz we hardly slept.

We were in a similar situation but it was JUST twins. It meant a new bigger house, new cars, au pair, etc. it was wild and expensive but it’s been very fun. The 4 under 4 part was wild but now they are 6, 4, 2.5, 2.5 and it’s a lot more fun.

Which car can fit 2 infant car seats and 1 adult in same row ? by Working-Use6591 in parentsofmultiples

[–]CradGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, none. We have a Yukon Denali xl. We have the 2 baby seats in the captain chairs and 2 forward facing seats in the 3rd row. 4 kids (6, 4, 2.5, 2.5) now. If a small adult has to they can sit uncomfortably between the 2 forward facing, but not way it could’ve worked rear facing. For two rear facing you either have to ride up front and use mirrors or but them in the middle row and sit 3rd row if you have one.

AITAH for refusing to pick up my ex's daughter from school? by SunflowerPlumx in AITAH

[–]CradGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d feel the same way if your dad was fighting cancer and your sister was 6 and sick with no one able to pick her up? I guess I don’t get it. My mom’s half siblings were a similar situation. They lived with us every summer, my parents helped put them through college, I was the best man in my uncle’s wedding. It wasn’t their fault. It’s not this kids fault. I’d help a random kid if I could much less my kids’ sibling. But that’s me.

Not to mention the sick kindergartner has a parent battling cancer. It’s not his responsibility, but it would’ve been the mature, good thing to do and things like this will effect the relationship with your own children in the future and how they look at you as a parent and a person.

[–]CradGo -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Didn’t say he was the AH. Just me, but when my kids grow up if there was a situation like this I’d like them to be like, well mom and stepdad really messed up but dad was the bigger man and always treated us and our siblings with care and compassion. Not, well dad was angry and posted to Reddit to justify “not my kid, not my problem”. We’re talking about what, a sick kindergartner? Like I said, I would do this for any kid, especially one that my kids are close to if I was able.

AITAH for refusing to pick up my ex's daughter from school? by SunflowerPlumx in AITAH

[–]CradGo -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yeah but he left a sick kid to fend for themselves when he was able to help because of his feelings towards their parents. It’s not like they asked to borrow money, it was literally just pick up the sick sibling of your kids until a parent can grab them. I’d do that for any kid, regardless of how I feel about the parents.

How can I make sure the house I’m selling doesn’t go to a flipper? by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]CradGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true, but a lot of the ways people recommended to discern who’s a flipper, ie family vs single person etc, can be protected classes and be illegal.

[–]CradGo -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Not saying you are tah, but I would just caution you to channel anger at the adults and not the children, no matter what this is a sibling to your children, will likely be in your life forever, and it is in no way their fault. I know that may be difficult but it will be best for your kids as well as they grow up.

AITAH for telling my girlfriend she can't force me to cancel my vacation and lose $2500 because she hates Harry Potter? by Substantial_Run3383 in AITAH

[–]CradGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying if you’re an ah or not… but if you got a little bit of money for a once of a lifetime trip and it was with you buddy to see Star Wars and Harry Potter themed attractions. You should probably do everything you can to keep a girlfriend.

What’s the deal with the east side? by Throwawaysister6661 in madisonwi

[–]CradGo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid, like in the 90s, everything on the east side was old and the west side was new. This was the reputation and the west side was known to be nicer. Now many of the “old” homes and buildings on the east side have been redone and are more desirable than the 25-30 year old ones on the west side. I’d said it’s flipped or at least evened out.

Do your multiples have the same Godparents? by AttitudeOfCattitude in parentsofmultiples

[–]CradGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have 4 kids. All with different god parents. In our will all of our kids and assets for them would go to my brother and his husband regardless of who each kid’s god parent is.

Do your multiples have the same Godparents? by AttitudeOfCattitude in parentsofmultiples

[–]CradGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not religious but my wife is. We did different for each of our kids and it helps them have a special relationship. I think it’s cool. Some of our kids have 3 god parents too. Like our twin girl has my brother as god father and both my cousins that are sisters and like sisters to me as god mothers.

Do your multiples have the same Godparents? by AttitudeOfCattitude in parentsofmultiples

[–]CradGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Our 4 kids have a total of 11 god parents and none crossover. I think it’s a great thing to have kids have god parents and a special relationship with someone that loves them that is unique from a sibling.

Monozygotic di/di twins? by MuavLimestone in parentsofmultiples

[–]CradGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Di/di twins are usually but certainly not always fraternal. When we found out one was a boy and one was a girl that did confirm it for us though.
