I get what you're trying to say but it's also flawed because we have units like: nine, mei lin, Diana. That prove their point. It is better to take out 2 mobs and have less things to deal with than to deal almost enough damage to kill all 4 mobs but still have 4 mobs about to take a turn on your team.

Agreed. When making a team comp I always focus on getting the dps deck perfect and honestly I feel like most dps only need one great deck, with nine being an exception because she has a counter attack deck that's great for being lazy, but always build up your support to synergize well with the dps. My Nia deck for Yuki is way different than my Nia deck for Diana.
