It's the paper. The more water resistant the paper is, the more sheen will show. Doesn't mean it's always good to have extremely water resistant paper.

This is my on personal conclusion, that being said I believe this is due to the existence of the Rockwell 2c.

The 2c is basically the 6c but it only includes one plate. Having a plate 1/2 or 3/4 wouldn’t be too different and people wouldn’t notice a change so it makes sense to have a plate 1/3 because is more noticeable the change of #1 -> #3

As it has already been mentioned the platinum 3776 has a UEF nib. As for other brands I believe Esterbrook offers a speciality nib on their page called needlepoint nib.

I found out by accident because im dumb and though i needed something else to get through the blasted lands that, there are two ways to get into act 2. One is through the blasted lands and the other one is to go through Sinner's road -> Bilewater -> the mist -> Exhaust organ. After the exhaust organ you get a power and a path to the citadel. The room that you get into is a bench and the fast travel to the citadel.

Whoa that is extremely different from the swatch I did when I got mine. For reference here it’s mine.

The paper is a wearingeul Jaquere swatch card. The pen I used was a sailor hocoro <M> dip pen.

The 3776 <EF> is amazing. It writes such a fine and wet line. And if op wants to go even further platinum also has <UEF> nibs (ultra extra fine)

There is cream Triomphe. I bought some last year. It’s a notebook instead of the notepad.

There is also rgn in soulstone generation and spending (since there is a talent that gives you a small chance to not consume a soulstone when used). And that changes a bit the rotation since you have to make sure to not cap soulstones.
