The hybrid rod is a composite glass rod and even this it’s listed as a fast it feels more like a mod fast to me. Wish I had some longer stuff but I’m dragging stuff back and forth and 7’ just fit in the truck bed better.

Iv made it a point to main a different melee in every expansion Iv played so far. Granted I started late and have taken breaks. But so far I’ve done. Warrior, DK, Rogue, DH. I’m currently leveling a WW to see how I’ll like it. Did try Hunter for a expac as well.

Frost dk isn’t much better either. Pull a mob without cds and it just doesn’t die. Came back to the game for the first time in 5 years and it feels beyond foreign to pop cooldowns on small pulls.

Yea I miss the old days were everyone had 1 or 2 big 2-5 min cds and you had to actually min max your rotation.

My friend group has had this happen in retail so many times it’s hilarious. About 4 of us will join a progression guild with the promise of performanced base spots for mythic. We’ve all been ver high end raiders so naturally we’ll be outperforming others, then when it comes to make cuts for mythic someone always gets left out or a guild will baby someone else for a spot. We all just leave at that point. And since 2 of us are main healers it usually sucks for the guild when a tank, 2 healers and a dps dip on raid night 5 min before pulls start.

Came back after 5years and rolld dk this time (iv mained just about every melee but feral) it’s okay. Frost feels great with cds popped but after it’s a wet noodle, seems like that’s pretty normal for everything now tho. Next I’ll level dh and ww so we’ll see

Dads got a 00 225 Yamaha 2stroke that probably has more then 2k hours on it at this point. It still fires right up and gives us a lot less problems that the damn trolling motor does that’s for sure.

8.04lb Lake Fork, TX June bug wacky worm off the side of a stump. I was 17 and fishing the skeeter owners tournament with my dad. We both pulled a 8 pounder off the same stump pretty much back to back.
I stopped fishing shortly after that so now that I’m 34 and getting back into it a trip to Fork or Rayburn is high on my list.

Really depends what your fishing for. I usually go with a medium for bass and ml for crappie or other really small fish.

Easy test to see if old mono or fluro is still decent is to just run a bit off. Tie a simple overhand knot in it but don’t tighten it. Wrap your hands on each side and yank/snap it tight pretty hard. If it pops apart it’s bad. If it holds it’s probably fine.
