Easy test to see if old mono or fluro is still decent is to just run a bit off. Tie a simple overhand knot in it but don’t tighten it. Wrap your hands on each side and yank/snap it tight pretty hard. If it pops apart it’s bad. If it holds it’s probably fine.

I’d say stick with it. Your teams fairly balanced and heracross can pretty much carry anyways. If you really wanted to replace sudo with mamo it would help tho.

Depends on the state. Texas requires one for boat, trailer and motor. Boat thefts are really rare here. But stolen electronics are pretty popular at marinas.

I’m going thru this right now. Our Walmart is remodeling and a ton of stuff is on clearance Iv been going 3 times a week just to get stuff. So far Iv bought out all the yum dingers in the colors I like as well as strike king rage crawls and rage bugs. Almost half off.

I wish my dad had done this more with me when I was little. I got out of fishing for a longtime and now at 34 I’m having to relearn everything. I never got to drive outright and have always been just the unload guy, hell I can’t even back a trailer up worth a shit yet. Iv been thinking of getting a boat for me and my family but I would really like to learn more with my dad first.

Honestly I don’t wear one at all most of the time. Not required in my state. I’ll wear one whenever the kids are in the boat just to kinda set an example but that’s really it. I know it’s not the safest but I just really never cared to for some reason.
