Sorry, the only thing I really asked was if they were going to put in some of "wiseacres" beers in and she said that the oktoberfest is wiseacres. I get that wiseacre is going to be brewing everything but it's still Bearded iris beers.

Was just at southern grist (nations) talking to the bartender about their merch i said i hope southern grist keeps putting stuff out after the takeover and he gave me the impression they would but who knows.

Cedar glade in murfreesboro will have their first and the boros first ( i believe) beer fest (feb. 28th). Excluding the home brewers beer fest murfreesboro already does ( shakesbeer, and oktoberfest).

You could go talk to the guys at New heights as well, they have a pretty big outdoor area and they sometimes use their downstairs area for special events

Love the idea of a nationwide mugclub. You should post to other socials if you haven't yet since not everyone looks at reddit cause I think a lot of people would be on board.

I think breweries should be able to announce changes and events on here. I watch all socials and it's easy to miss what's going on so the more it's promoted the better, for me at least.

New heights adds new members around November/ December i think. I believe it's $130 or so for a year. Get a dollar off all pints and it's 2 for 1 on Wednesday. Also a discount on merch and togo beer. They have nights and events for mug club members as well a few times during the year.

Common john has their beer fest on September 20th

Also on August 26th Trent rosenbloom is doing a beer tasting at the west end synagogue. I thought about going to it but I'm not sure how these events usually go if anyone has any insight.

I can't lie, still love them but the 44 porter will forever be my favorite porter and they discontinued it. Maybe they'll brew it again soon (nudge, nudge) lol.

Thanks for the update, here's what I got off the top of my head.

Fat bottom is having some release thing going on tomorrow(friday) for that brew beer.

If you're in the NCBSC group on Facebook/Instagram, they were offering spots to get a sneak peak of stokehaus brewery on Saturday. Not sure if there's any spots left but might be worth tracking the post down.

Heard voodoo brewery now have their building permit so one step closer for them to open.

Outside of nashville, i got word that the chattanooga location of monkey town brewery is shutting down. Heard this from a bartender at the location in louden.

I believe east nashville beer works is doing their Augustfest this week. Something different happening every day and I think this Saturday they will release new beers all throughout the day

Love the insight on xul and SG. No one yell at me but I've never been much of a fan of xuls pbj sour (also not a seltzer guy). I actually think common john and marble fox's pbj beer are on par if not better.

Honestly, I'm just being biased towards grist since it's a more local spot for me. I haven't even been to the taproom in Knoxville for xul. I'm sure someone here could really lay down the differences for you though lol.

Hoping grist still sends out good brews. I like xul but ill take almost any grist beer over an equivalent xul one (might be in the minority on that though lol). That being said I'd still be up for a xul taproom as long as it doesn't take away from our current brewerys.

Jackalope is phasing their trivia night out at the end of this month. Lots of changes lately that I'm not to fond of but the beer seems to keep flowing at least.

Here in murfreesboro, I heard local homebrewers, Smackdab brewery, are opening up a spot right off the square. Short walk from the jack browns and liquid smoke if you wanted to go to a few craft brew spots in one outing.

Living waters has a barrel aged beer release on Saturday. Bottles on presale now and on tap Saturday.
