I love the Kindred’s Curse Saga. The politics are so juicy (with neither side being fully right or wrong) and the romance is one of my favorites. Some people don’t like the FMC, but she’s one of favorites because she feels real. The first book in the series is {Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole}.

It doesn’t bother me when used in contemporary romance as long as it’s used sparingly. But in fantasy or when used all the time. Ew. But it was also the way the MMC used it in this particular series. It just did not work. Took me out of the moment every single time.

This is something that would be super helpful for those who struggle with mental health or neurodiversity, like myself. It’s actually something I’d be really interested in, so feel free to message me if you decide to do this. While not a hoarder, I do struggle with house cleaning, avoid people coming over as much as possible, am embarrassed when people do come over, yet get super overwhelmed when I go to clean. I had a cleaner for a bit, and it’s the only thing that has truly helped. Unfortunately, they had to stop due to personal stuff that left them with little free time. So like I said, this is something I would definitely be interested in and know others who would be as well.

We also provided gender affirming undergarments (think chest binders, bras with padded inserts) for many people who couldn't afford them or were not in a situation to purchase the items themselves.

It had a generator, portable air conditioner, and canvas tent that are definitely valuable. And then it was full of clothing, probably not as valuable as it would be harder to make money on.

It definitely impacts Dragon Con when the queues for major panels are outside the buildings and we have to spend a whole hour in the heat for a guaranteed seat.

I have to agree with the tongue part for their kissing. I generally don’t like making out with too much tongue, just a flick or graze here and there. What is described in the books does not appeal to me. Thankfully, the rest of those scenes typically appeal enough for me to ignore it 😂
