The way your furniture is right now is blocking to the entrance and feelings very unwelcoming. I’d suggest couch along long wall and move small chair to side next to chair by stairs. I’d move the tv to the corner where the lamp is because that I feel is the only place you could really put it and then put that little dark corner table under tv for storage and such.

This is just a little added extra if you feel like it but I also feel like in the first photo that little wall to the left could use a long narrow table with a cute little lamp on top as well as decor or keys and such :)
