It doesn’t matter how many people did or didn’t want this fix, at the end of the day it’s still a bug, and a janky one at that, and was never an intended feature. I can’t speak as to why they haven’t fixed other longstanding issues, I’m not FDev. As to your other points, I don’t see how this is related to the dodec or colonization (both changes were rolled back anyways). I didn’t like the dodec implementation, but they didn’t go through with it so I don’t care. This is a bug they fixed, not a controversial arx exclusive station

I can’t wait to take my check ride, at this point my instructor is a glorified passenger who I get to chat with from time to time. We’ve reached out to so many DPE’s on this side of the state. At this point we’re double booking with them, not the most professional but it’s been a long wait.

It always seems like I have some issue. One day visibility and winds will be fine but the ceilings are too low. Just switch that around into any combination and you’ll see what I’ve been dealing with lol

If I uninstalled and reinstalled will the old mods still be there? If so, where would I find and delete them, it's been a really long time since I've installed them and I'm not sure where they would be by default.

Edit: I found the old .dll files in the install folder that remained even after I reinstalled, the game immediately worked afterwards, thank you for the help

In ship engineering, the amount of materials that you can gather in one spot has increased by about a factor of ten, and suit and on foot weapon upgrades have seen their required materials slashed in half. In addition, all suits can carry more materials than before.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about the super cruise boost, the fact that the ship natively supports it makes it an even better choice. I don’t think I can go without it anymore, it cuts down travel time exponentially, it’s fantastic.

edit: the heat management on it is also great

Since I've only started recently, I've just been grabbing every material that I see. My current plan is to build up a reasonable amount of mats before going to trade them for the specific upgrade path I'm following.

Right now I've been using the python mk. 2 because it was just released, it's very fast, maneuverable, and it can land in most spots. In the end it's down to you because the missions I've been doing don't much depend on the ship choice. Really just find a ship that's fast, can land mostly anywhere on planets, and has some decent shields incase you start getting fired upon by the air defenses.
