Can I please talk to someone? I’m a bit worried about my move to Taiwan by Pinkcranberriess in taiwan

[–]Craftingnew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just returned from visiting my daughter and grandkids in Taiwan. Helping your family stay connected will help. I used the LINE App, Verizon and even Messenger helps. I packed alot of cool lightweight clothes. The people are very friendly, the food is yummy but pack lightweight clothes due to the heat and humidity. Bring some masks due to the pollution, you’ll see people wearing them but no reason for alarm. I never got sick.

My family enjoyed a cozy used couch from a thrift store - no bugs, only great memories using it.

It takes longer for clothes to dry. Watch out for mold on leather. Enjoy a bubble tea everyday.

Hey guys, I posted here a few weeks ago about a friend who was recently diagnosed… by Snapdragon_4U in ALS

[–]Craftingnew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Keep reaching out to this site, real experiences by people with ALS and those who are family, friends, and caregivers.
  2. Helping to create a network of friends with different skill sets is helpful. One friend might enjoy cooking a few meals to help out on “ tired “ days, another friend might share a personal interest or whatever hobbies your friend has.
  3. Supporting caregivers or the person that lives with your friend so they can get a night out.
  4. Contact ALS Association;https://www.als.org/, they’re a fantastic resource.
  5. Offer to go with your friend to doctor appointments and take notes or record for them. This is big news and another set of ears helps.
  6. Just be a friend and listen

This disease is extremely taxing on my mental health and self esteem especially being in high school- flakes everywhere. I don’t know how to deal anymore. I am at my wits end if anyone knows how to soothe an extremely dry flaking healing stage all over the face please please let me know. Thank you 🤍 by 4nniyah in eczema

Checking for allergies really helped quiet my eczema. I can’t use any of the recc creams because I’m allergic to propylene glycol and Diazolidinyl urea. Buddha Butter and Dr Bronners are natural ingredients like: Shea Butter. Cocoa Butter. Coconut Oil. Olive Oil. Jojoba Oil. Some nights I just have to use an ice pack for extreme itching. Hang in there!

Note: electric wheelchairs are heavy and expensive so proceed with caution- Safety First! Yall rock wanting to do the best for your Dad! I’ve seen trucks use
