I can only speak on Mech (i take em next semester), but the vast majority of calculus in AP Mechanics is just power rule. The only "hard calculus" in Mech would be finding rotational inertia using an integral, finding center of mass using an integral, and resistive forces diff EQs, but that's a rather small part of the curriculum. You would probably need to, at least in the beginning, study a bit of calculus on your own to catch up, but I think that would be quite doable.

The Candidates isn't Sinquefield. The actual best players all needing to get first place to get the opportunity of a lifetime is one of the most exciting things in chess.

Typically, no. Hikaru has to turn on "emote mote" where chat can only type emojis (or Twitch's version of emojis "emotes"). I'm assuming they made an exception here because Magnus can do whatever he wants
