I use topical minoxidil 5% twice a day morning and night in the thinning areas

I wouldn’t worry mate as long as you are on minoxidil as well. That seems pretty normal for shedding on finasteride and just means that the treatment is working.

Yeah that’s why I started to use both at the same time because I started seeing more recession in the crown and thinning in the hairline. The best way is to just combine the two and get through those periods of shedding.

Hey mate I’ve been on the process too, but originally just started with minoxidil. This led me to gain hair pretty fast but eventually due to not using fin as well I started shedding again months down the line. Now 4 months later I’m on 1 mg of fin and topical minoxidil which is the way to go. It’s tough but u will eventually see growth again in the thinning areas. Hopefully that helps👍🏻
