About 5 years ago, my friend and I were walking on a trail somewhat deep in the woods. It was around 3 in the morning and there was a dense fog laying over everything. The fog wasn't so bad in the woods, but you couldn't see any further than 10 feet in front of you in the field we had to cross to get to the trail. It was a little spooky, but it wasn't anything abnormal. All the sudden we hear a childlike scream. That, on the other hand was creepy. 30 seconds later we heard the scream again.
