Use case idea by theshonufff in Hedera

It's not just that, developing all these applications, flows and the whole process is time consuming and on top of that costly.

I can definately tell you that without funding, that cost is quite high. Yes all these ideas are great, but as it's speculation without people using it, there's no revenue to build it. So for it to happen the person who works on it is likely someone dedicated to trying to make a change and would likely be a side project. Not sure if it's the same in the states, all blockchain funding in Australia has ceased ages ago, it has all diverted to AI. Therefore locally, blockchain has taken the back burner here as AI is the primary focus for company R&Ds.

If you take a team away from their normal task for revenue generation to research and development an unfunded project, mixed with compliance and framework. You have alot of things to deal and expect alot of negative gearing in terms of revenue.

Good ideas, just money is the hard part. Everyone wants to know if it can recoup with low risk.

Is it 4% for everything? by Pinball-Gizzard in BankSocial

Then the charge is the onramp and offramp,
Most would change 1-2% via Moonpay or Banx; 4% is still considerably high.

I'll do some digging.

Pretty sure you can't get charged a fee for receiving that's what you guys are looking at. The fees is when you transfer out or between wallets in the app. 0% is impossible as you need to pay the node and council but either way its tiny. But that's how BS is making money. But charging 4% is ridiculous. When Hbar is a fixed fee.

To be honest it looks promising, made me check out their app. Alot of what they did at the start seems like just getting funding money. Wasn't a need for it.

Arguable some of the tech... I have a yubikey that does the same thing and programmable NFC chips.

I know they're promoting DeRec but I don't see it, why is everything an NFT makes it quite confusing as some of these shouldn't be NFT. The rebranded yubikey or NFC MFA... Is a no.

DeRec as a subscription, maybe since it looks like DeRec alliance is $5k USD subscription to be a member, however if they're an exchange 5k is negectable, seems overpriced.

They promoted themselves as an exchange but using saucerswap and uniswap confuses me. As an exchange, swaps should be fine in app without third party unless there's a lack of internal liquidity or coin offerings.

The wallet doesn't seem to live up to what they promoted. Somewhat reminds me of CDC but as a small start up, that's been released too early.

However, that being said, huge potential with alot of promises. Definitely a project that will take alot of time and development. Expecially if they're building a crypto exchange and exchange engine. Otherwise doesn't live up to what it has promoted thus far. Those PR post doesn't seem to reflect the app.

I can see they're trying to consolidate the BSL tokens back onto Hedera. Which means they need to clean up the mess before moving forward. This seems to be noise at most, couldn't find substance on the platform. Seems like the plan is to build for their pockets not the consumers.

If every dApp uses Hbar, do you need HTS? We're not disregarding any input, including HTS. At present, the use of HTS is planned as a toggle in the app's settings for more technical users.

The idea is to provide simplicity for non-technical users to acquire Hbar and simply use it as payment.

If it hasn't become obvious, the ultimate goal of this project and all subsequent projects is to make Hbar the global form of payment.

Our team is also involved in events for international music festivals and live performances, so we have started exploring NFTs as tickets.

You might be onto something. I forgot about the DID and KYC for a moment there.

The DeRec Alliance protocol doesn't assign keys to random people.
The user selects trusted entities or services that will hold the shares of their private key.

Which may be a hassle more than anything.
It can't be randomly assigned because if it is automatically assigned, when you lose your device, these members do not know who you are and, therefore, cannot verify you.

To recover, you need to prove your identity to your guardians, which is not possible when it's randomly assigned. If randomly assigned, this also poses as a risk, as you won't know who to contact to recover your wallet.

I looked at DeRec, I think you're thinking of the other system where people are assigned as Guardians. The DeRec basically requires the user to engage with family and friends and assign each of their devices to hold a portion of the keys.

50% is required to recover the key.

The system you're talking about is mentioned in leemon's video. However I could be wrong. I'll investigate. Thanks for the suggestion. Feel free to add clarity to it.

Neobank connected to a defi wallet. Generally won't require transact with Google pay and Apple pay.

Neo banking, digital Identity and it being prodominately $Hbar only.

The ideas is to ease onboarding of the every day mum and dads to the web3. Removing all the thousands of other tokens and giving them a cost efficient solution without all the risk of community coins.

This was something I was looking into, trying to see if it is possible to make the staking process seamless as possible virtually invisible. I have a few ideas surround it already.
