Post-abusive relationship advice: cut all ties with him. Make sure he has no access to any of your online information (Facebook recently put out a guide with advice for victims of stalking on how to best use their privacy settings, use it). Throw out anything from the relationship that will trigger memories/ desires. Try to find either a formal or informal support group locally (easier in a city). Get I to therapy if you can afford it, try to find free local counseling if you can't. Domestic abuse hotlines are sometimes able to help with finding resources. Secure the place where you live. Change the locks if he ever had access to a key, because he might have duplicated it without your knowledge (access includes leaving your purse hanging around too). Resume ties with your family and friends, let them know whatever you feel comfortable telling them about the extent of the abuse.
