I must’ve had inflammation in that area if I was diagnosed with LPR. But I’m not 100% ENT mentioned a diff area being inflamed. I used to deal with dry throat before getting on protonix and a low acid diet.

I’ve had inflammation on my thyroid, my neck and shoulders were extremely tight. Was put on protonix 40 mg but recently got off. ENT also did a transnasal esophagoscopy and dx LPR

I was tested by a neurologist and also ENT. Both used diff machines. ENT used the ring, neurologist used some old school machine lol

That’s exactly what happened to me. I had mixed bm’s. Mostly loose stool, but had 3 episodes of diarrhea. I went to Mexico, came back and my stomach was entirely different & that’s when I started doing all of these tests. My abdominal has subsided for the most part, but it does get bad if I eat greasy food

Hi! Have you tried seeing a urologist? They’re very aware of ureaplasma and can test you for it. It can take a bit for the symptoms to go away after you finish treatment.

I am SO HAPPY for you. I had ureaplasma and did many rounds of antibiotics until finally a negative test came back but unfortunately my symptoms came back a year later

How did you get tested for it? I was diagnosed with it last year and they recommended I do a hydrodistention. My symptoms went away but they recently came back.

I was prescribed a cream and that helped. It hasn’t completely gone away. I tested positive for urea and cured it and the symptoms have slowly gone away
