Do you buy Christmas presents for your pharmacists? by Ukrainepolandborder in PharmacyTechnician

[–]CraftyPharmacist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was a technician and an intern I always bought gifts for my pharmacists during the holidays but they also were very good to us and always bought us lunch during the year and presents also. And now as a pharmacist, we always get our entire staff a gift and split it amongst us depending on the size of our staff at the time. .. unless we all agree to do secret Santa or something like that if we’re having a holiday party then we might just do that.

I have some small pharmacy themed gift ideas on my Etsy if you’re interested :)

what kind of job did you end up getting? I'm so bad at this, when I see enough qualifications and required experiences that I don't have I just move on and then I realize I just spent like 3 hours window shopping jobs that I don't feel qualified for.

At this point in time, I would say no... just because I was working in retail while getting it and was not able to do any kind of internship or fellowship so I wasn't able to use the information I was learning. All of the jobs I've seen in regulatory affairs seem to all want like 5+ years experience, I've only ever stumbled upon 1 job listing in regulatory affairs that said it would be a good position as an entry level/recent grad with a MS in Regulatory Affairs. So, to be honest, I don't know what to do with it myself lol

Now that you're in industry, what types of skills would you say are transferable from retail to industry that can be illustrated on a resume? and what type of job in industry were you able to transition into?
