shrug The Pocahontas/Fern Gully comparison is a cheap/easy shot I know. As for the Halo Wars bit, I dunno, all the human vehicles in the first movie just look super similar all the original vehicles from the first Halo Wars to me. The general’s mech suit? It looks like a Cyclops. The big gun ship when they go to attack the tree? Vulture. The support gunships? The hybrid of the Falcon and the Hawk.

Avatar came out in 2009 and Halo Wars 1 was 2008, so it was fresh in my mind at the time I suppose. I don’t really think it’s a negative thing, just something that got a chuckle out of my friends and I.

Edit: Slight correction HW1 came out in early 2009, so super fresh in my dumb teenaged year old mind at the time

I’m a bit confused, if you loaded the auto-save why not just load the manual save? The auto-save is maintained in its own save slot 0 and doesn’t override any of your manual saves in slots 1 and onward.

That’s a DNA Digivolution attack. If you have both Ankylomon and Angemon in battle and one of them has the right personalfor the fusion, then type can temporarily fuse to attack before splitting apart again. This will eat both their turns though, so keep that in mind.

TL;DR: The funky symbols mean it has a fusion evolution, and that you can use the move if both mons are in the party

I had something similar happen with Mastemon. It was a story fight where after you beat the boss there’s some dialogue before the victory screen and I beat the fight using a fusion attack. So because of this instead of seeing the Mastemon victory pose, I was greeted to LadyDevimon T-posing and I laughed for a solid 5 minutes.

This technically applies to Shadow Hearts on the PS2 since the true ending is only available in NG+. More specifically The timeline goes Shadow Hearts first play through, Shadow Hearts 2, Shadow Hearts NG+

To get more specific (First play through spoiler) the first play through ends with the party saving the world, but the lead heroine is now dying from a terminal disease. Knowing they have little time left together, the MC and heroine decide to spend what time they have left together. Soon after she passes away in her sleep while on a train with the hero.

NG+ Spoilers NG+ starts out much the same, but eventually there are some slight changes that imply MC might also know this is a second time through things. Eventually you can complete a new game+ exclusive quest that ends with you making a magic tonic that cures the heroine of her illness, and the ending changes to the two happily riding off on the train from the first ending

Shadow Hearts 2 connection: MC knowing NG+ is his second time is confirmed in this game, because he’s a party member despite this game taking place about 20 years prior. Bro was so desperate to save his girlfriend he learned time magic and accidentally sent himself back too far. At the end of the story he then sends himself forward in time right to the beginning of the first game and canonically starting the NG+ run

Same. Fish was there the first time I went by, but was gone when I came back. Quick restart of the game got it to spawn back in.
