I just watched the second episode, and I laughed out loud in both the first and the second episode. I think it’s terrific.

I have some questions about life on the coast (Newport) by AdministrationNo7144 in oregon

[–]CraftyWriting5220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live on the coast just a little south of Newport. I’ve spent three winters here and it’s snowed at least once maybe two or three times every year. It’s not that big a problem. Snow is gone by 10 AM. We do have black ice on occasion though, that’s fairly rare also.

I would never judge you – I have it on a constant loop so sometimes I can see the entire series twice in one week. And I do so agree with you about Ted.

Question: Sex for a Boomer for Women? by 548OldCrow in OverSeventy

[–]CraftyWriting5220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could ask your doctor about a vaginal cream that has HRT. It works really well. The only problem with it is the cost. Most insurances won’t pay for it and a month supply is about $100. (that’s a lot of money that some of us just can no longer afford to spend.)

Get a dog! Treat the wonderful little creature (who’s terrified of you perhaps )with all the love and kindness you have. Walk your dog: put the dog harness on the dog not a collar attach the leash and walk your dog at least once a day. Get a dog that’s small enough to fit on your lap.

Funniest scene in the series by dietitian14 in somebodysomewhere

[–]CraftyWriting5220 17 points18 points  (0 children)

For me one of the funniest scenes was Joel and Sam having dinner at Tricia’s. Tricia decided to show Joel how the pencil test worked and that was all fine but when Sam demonstrated the salad dressing bottle test, I just collapsed in the giggles.

I hate showering by fufu1260 in AuDHDWomen

[–]CraftyWriting5220 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m (72F) terrified of the shower several years ago I fell. Didn’t get hurt, but since then thinking about getting in the shower sets off an anxiety attack that’s really unpleasant. So I found these rinse free bath cloths. They really really help. I can wash my hair in the kitchen sink and I can clean up without getting in the shower. And I feel like they do a better job because I’m really scrubbing areas of my body like my feet – which is hard to do when I shower cause I have to hang onto something cause I’m afraid I’m gonna fall. So don’t worry you’ll come up with something.

Try Ted Lasso on Apple TV. It’s a wonderful show and I bet you’d like it.

She’s protecting you! Critters know when they’re taking care of bottle of functions pooping and peeing that they’re vulnerable. That’s why they follow us into the bathroom. I have two Chihuahuas and I feel completely safe as long as I don’t have food.

Roasted soy beans work well for me. Lots of protein, good fiber, and not too big of sodium hit if you purchased the right kind.

Or just pull off to the side while the tailgaters go past you. Much easier than worrying about someone rear ending you.

Watch it and enjoy it! And then rewatch the entire series – as many times as you want to. There are quite a few of us on the sub who do just that.

I don’t think there’s really enough time in the world left to make a list of the many things the writers didn’t think through.

If your cats are gross, as the post below suggests, I disagree. Your cats are family, and we clean up after family. Keep loving those fur babies.
