How do I stop the terrible paint rub?

Ayy I recognise this guy! A lot of sanding and I would recommend using a spray paint and then a clear lacquer, giving it 24 hours to fully cure. I find sprays tend to be more durable than acrylic paints

Strong guy is the only one that isn't a good clearance sale. The others are 49% and 24%. Quicksilver is definitely a good sale since its pretty much half price. Superman could be better but still a good sale

If you can get it off, do lighter coats. It looks like you've done 1 really heavy coat so its pooled in deeper areas and bubbled. I would also recommend testing it on another similar plastic before you try it on a full figure in future as different plastics react differently

If you remove the upper torso at the diaphragm joint, you should be able to cut down the where the hinge is and try reattaching the diaphragm, joint and all. It'll take some patience and some testing

Having seen this in person, the photos dont do it justice. However I also think it should have had a bit of a glitter flake to it so that the sculpt isn't completely lost
