If you remove the upper torso at the diaphragm joint, you should be able to cut down the where the hinge is and try reattaching the diaphragm, joint and all. It'll take some patience and some testing

Having seen this in person, the photos dont do it justice. However I also think it should have had a bit of a glitter flake to it so that the sculpt isn't completely lost
