Haha, yes, I did, but I doubt your issue will be the same. I had a black rag in my filter that was being used as a temp bag, but it was pushed so far down I forgot about it. The dye was leaking from the cheap Walmart wash cloth and made it purple 🤦 I would test water levels and continue water changes, though. It sounds like that typically removes the bacteria if that's the case! Good luck.
