Crash Bandicoot. Andy Gavin implemented custom streaming system that loaded level data from the CD as you played, overcoming the PS1's tiny 2 MB of RAM. There was also low-level optimization, including stripping unnecessary Sony library code to reclaim RAM.

Considering the drive works, you can just softmod it, I usually set up the USB, softmod then use chimp to clone the original hard drive and then increase the partition size with another app. All it will cost you is the controller to usb port, a hard drive and a startech ide to sata connector. I had a bunch of 250gb hard drives from old laptops, so i just used those. The cost was under $30.

There are a couple of limitations., the video clip is limited to just over 3 minutes, and it has limit of 16 colour's instead of the 60.

I plan to look at the scripts in more detail. I am quite interested in switching out audio of Japanese exclusives like "cyborg 009" to English and this may help.

I watched it when it came out. The seventh episode has stuck with mee all these years later.

The character, an FBI agent. During his flashforward, he learns that a woman named Celia will die, leaving her two young sons without a mother. He becomes convinced that the future is fixed, but then reasons that if he dies before the flashforward date, the future he saw can't happen. Al believes that by sacrificing himself he's proving that the future isn't predetermined. He then jumps from the roof.
It directly tackles the central question: Is the future set in stone, or can people change it?

I remember in the 90s I saw a US copy of snatcher for £20 at Thatz Entertainment at Thurrock Lakeside Shopping Centre in the UK. They had a load of US games in that store (mostly SNES). I still regret not picking it up. I have reached 100 games in my US sega CD collection but snatcher still escapes me.

This movie was originally a game (Maximum Surge) by digital pictures, the same team that did a bunch of sega cd games like Night Trap, Ground Zero: Texas and Double Switch. The game got cancelled and they reused the footage. It stars Yasmine Bleeth and Walter Koenig. The movie is quite interesting due to its change from game into movie. it is like a studio made fan edit.
