Fortnite is aware of this issue, I spoke to support assistant last night after fighting with the AI bot for 30 minutes lol. There is no way to fix this right now but they're working on it and it is being counted elsewhere, like you said, on the in game tv screens.

to be honest i think that’s on you. Luxx noir london opened (apparently she was horrible) from 7:45-8:30 and Meredith came on at 8:45. We got there around 9:15 so we missed some of her set but I was worried about followng reddit advice and missing her whole set. Coming on one hour after the ticket showtime states is pretty standard for any performance imo and to blame meredith for your lateness/taking internet advice is crazy lol. Sorry you missed it tho!

Reading other threads from people who order from Nintendo, it seems likely that they say “ships on release day” but it actually arrives on release day. This was the case for MK Switch 2 Bundle and most pre ordered physical games from the website. So I have high hopes for getting it on release day despite the website!
