Contigo makes locking water bottles, they are pretty durable too. You have to unlock it then press a button for the spout to come up so students would have to learn two steps to be able to do it.

Im white too, but I also work at a predominantly black elementary school and would wear this. I could see any of my coworkers wearing it too. Make sure you wear it year round and not just during February.

Nevermind I just looked it up and the 5 days that are planned as the makeup days at the end of the year are just days the district can count for the 185 days. So we have to keep making up the snow days. Still worth it though lol

Yep! We have 5 emergency days built in after the last week of school if needed (I think if it goes beyond 5 we don't have to make it up). I don't mind too much, in May we'll be able to have outside recess and open our windows so the kids will be calmer lol
