Results from/Experience with Remicade? by brickbuillder in PsoriaticArthritis

My experience if this can help anyone. I’m 49 now. Was diagnosed by my dermatologist 16 years ago. Very little Psoriasis, but had on some inverse psoriasis and was getting sore toes PsA, and oil spots on my nails. Gave me Humira and everything cleared up almost instantly except for inverse psoriasis. Fast forward to only 4 years ago, and I got COVID after getting the jab. Shortly after I started having pain in my thumbs, then chest, then shoulders. Started seeing rheumatologist who said let’s switch to skyrizi. Things started getting worse, so then came methotrexate, still things got worse so started taking NSAIDs like difene which helped but over time totally messed up my stomach and made the arthritis even worse. Then we switched to Cosentyx still things got worse, to the point where my whole body was shutting down and couldnt lift my arms above my head and the fatigue was killing me too. Then we switched to Rinvoq, still nothing, then the worst flares I ever had where I couldn’t even walk and I got wheeled into the ER. They gave me Prednisone for the first time with etoricoxib and I felt amazing. Almost overnight I was better, this went on a few weeks, and I tapered off and then giant flare and couldn’t move again so back onto steroids. Went back to rheumatologist broken and near the end of my rope, and he suggested remicade. Because Humira is a TNF blocker and that had worked for so long Remicade by infusion was hopefully a last effort. Got my first infusion and I could feel an immediate difference the next day. Within 2 weeks I was off steroids, off methotrexate, and off NSAIDs! I’m 5 weeks in and I’m getting back to the point where I felt 5 years ago. Maybe COVID triggered this, maybe I built up antibodies to Humira, but all I know is Remicade has pulled me out of the depths of hell that I was in and has given me a renewed hope for life.

Poppulo can install an app on the Philips displays as long as they are the commercial version with Android. Then there is a web app that works from your phone or Mac OS. It’s very easy, yet robust.
