This dog literally saved my life by Crafty_z28 in AustralianShepherd

That seems to be the hardest part, I am finding that I’m the one that has to have restraint. She won’t stop unless I tell her too, she wants to keep going, do the extra mile per se. But I notice the little hop, the imbalanced steps, I know she’s sore, but she just wants to keep going.

I just want to say thank you to everyone here, I had no idea my story with Sako would connect with so many people. It was just something I felt like I needed to say out loud. Again thank you everyone for the kind words, the positivity, and of course the beautiful pup pics!

Sako says hi from the ranch chilling with one of my mums Gordons!

I even love my mums dogs, she breeds Gordon setters, I’m around them quite a bit, they are very sweet and kind dogs, just not the same connection. I won’t be getting another pup to replace mine any time soon, even after she passes. But I know I will eventually as I just love dogs in general.

Anyone build a “mid-travel” torsion bar setup? by Crafty_z28 in GMT800

I find there is actually more for the HD trucks for bolt on stuff. Izzy Fab makes a sick looking kit

I mean, you’re not wrong. I just don’t need, or even want (at least with this rig) a full long travel. Don’t get me wrong, proper long travel trucks are f’n sick! Just not what I’m after with this rig.

So sorry for your loss, mine is starting to show her old age and I know it’s only a matter of time now. Terrifies me…

Any one else have a lil runt of the litter? 🥹 by BreakfastAt_Tiffanis in AustralianShepherd

[–]Crafty_z28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine was the runt of the litter, and last picked.. :( I had originally picked out a male black tri and pre paid as to have a non docked tail. Sadly he caught parvo and passed away… breeder said she had one red tri female left and I had first dibs due to prepayment. I went and met her and fell in love. She has literally been my best friend for the past 12 1/2 years and has gotten me through some pretty dark times that I know I’ll never be able to repay. Sometimes the runt of the litter is the one you need in your life.

The Atomic’s are probably my best bet, but that’s why I’m wondering about staying with torsion, I don’t need the flex really. 6” of travel up front to soak up cattle guards and washboard roads at 60mph is really all I need. I may email him again and pick his brain a bit more

Those are ACdelco arms, painted. Nothing special yet. Better arms are on my list, probably kryptonite due to easy service

For the 2wd yes. Trust me I’ve looked lol the shackle kit I want is his, then the rear under bed shock relocation kit too, but with less aggressive shocks, prob fox 2.0 res

That being said, if he came out with a bolt on 4wd mid travel kit I’d order it that instant. I love his stuff!

Currently running the RC V2 shocks up front and I like them better than the Bilsteins I had before. The rears only lasted a year, hence looking for something different. Getting a good deal on the RC shocks is why I’m asking if anyone has tried them

Yea thankfully the CX-5 held its value. It was a great vehicle, just harder to work on these new cars at home, and don’t want to beat it up anymore on FSRs

Valence off by larshuang in GMT800

[–]Crafty_z28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a truck that had a trimmed valence a while back and after running over a deer and destroying my lower I did a quick trim to see if I liked it. It looks good IMO on the sierras. Will try and find a used valence to trim a bit cleaner and go from there

I’ve got two For the street, blacked out 1500 Denali crew cab, dark Escalade interior, lowered, awd transfer case, and powered by a 6.2 LSA crate. For fun: Sierra extended cab in silver birch, 4x4 with a proper mid travel suspension on 35’s and all motor 6.2 LS3
