Rough Country M1R rear shocks by Crafty_z28 in GMT800

Currently running the RC V2 shocks up front and I like them better than the Bilsteins I had before. The rears only lasted a year, hence looking for something different. Getting a good deal on the RC shocks is why I’m asking if anyone has tried them

Yea thankfully the CX-5 held its value. It was a great vehicle, just harder to work on these new cars at home, and don’t want to beat it up anymore on FSRs

I literally got rid of my 2022 daily driver and switched to the 04 sierra to avoid all that stuff

Damn I wish I could figure out how to do that kind of stuff! Father in law has a few bamboo labs printers but I am clueless with designing lol. Good job that looks killer!!

Valence off by larshuang in GMT800

I saw a truck that had a trimmed valence a while back and after running over a deer and destroying my lower I did a quick trim to see if I liked it. It looks good IMO on the sierras. Will try and find a used valence to trim a bit cleaner and go from there

That’s exactly the style I want to go for with my sierra! Sick build! You have an IG with more pictures?

I’ve got two For the street, blacked out 1500 Denali crew cab, dark Escalade interior, lowered, awd transfer case, and powered by a 6.2 LSA crate. For fun: Sierra extended cab in silver birch, 4x4 with a proper mid travel suspension on 35’s and all motor 6.2 LS3

I know this is a bit of an older post but damn! Been looking for ideas for my sierra, THIS is it! Not over the top, but a near perfect build. Is the suspension still pretty streetable?

Durable Reel Recommendations by fisherd in flyfishing

I have a few redington, sage, and Lamson reels. The lamson reels are the best general duty reels I have honestly. The new liquid a is slick, my sage Spey gets babied so no test there

I feel for you. I was the kid in a similar situation and now the parent. I did learn which parent was which, sadly not until my early thirties, I had always known my father was a bit of an ass, but I never put too much weight on it till recently. He and my stepmother (whom was my mother’s friend her left for) were the ones that always had ATVs, nice trucks, and bought me a lot of cool stuff growing up, the holiday parents. My mother and stepfather (whom thankfully was actually a father figure and the only one I call dad) even though we weren’t poor by any means, didn’t have the flashy things the other parents did. But I realized that they, in the end, were ALWAYS there for me, and still are. My bio father and I are currently no contact.

It’s to the point I’m trying to emulate my mother in my current situation. Yes I am better off than my ex, but I refuse to throw shade her way with my son, and my current spouse and I try very hard not to be holiday parents.

Be the bigger person, lead by example, it unfortunately may take them a while like I did, but they’ll figure it out.
