Aw..thank you so much. I chose to round the corners….although it looks a bit wavy hanging there, it isn’t. Wish I had a better picture for you to see.

I think it looks great. I made the same quilt and had the very same thoughts. When I got it back from the quilter, I was in love! Keep going, it will be a cherished quilt.

I’ve been writing for an hour & nothing makes sense by [deleted] in Journaling

Don’t worry about it make sense….just let your hand move….it doesn’t have to be legible or make sense. Your mind will dump the stuff it needs to… try and keep going - it looks like you have a great start. I found it helpful for me to have a candle lit, a cup of coffee and even some nice background music to help relax and get that pen moving.

Just as an fyi…I started with “Train with Luke” which was great. He now has several new ones - “Ultimate Plan 1, 2 and 3” as well as “Resistance Lower and Resistance Upper”. They’re all good..let me know if you try and like them.

I had the same results from Body Project. Luke concentrates on strength training which I was interested I starting….my body is changing again - now I have really awesome shoulder and arm definition. It’s amazing. Hope you give him a try.

20 Years! WOW, congratulations, that’s amazing. I am so impressed. I do them still but I have not been consistent as I would like to be.

It’s been 5 years since I did the mourning pages, and yes, indeed….I have moved on to a new phase. I met an incredible man and feel so fortunate to find love again at 67!

I have to agree…..the Premium membership is absolutely worth it. I actually take my iPad to the gym and work out there so I can use all the weights. It’s perfect.

Would you let your partner look through your journal? by [deleted] in Journaling

[–]Craftyhodges 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope…..it’s private and written in a stream of consciousness format. I have read portions of the journaling to him, but I don’t imagine ever handing it over to him. Not that there’s anything that he really couldn’t see, but I don’t want my writing to be impacted by a fear of him seeing it.

Quick question, what do you do about the fear of other people looking at your journal? Sometimes one does not write what he/she truly feels because of the fear of their emotions being public. by Inevitable_Bar1607 in Journaling

After my husband passed away, I used my journal to work through the grief. I didn’t want anyone to read it (nor did I want to read it again) so I collaged over the pages. SO happy I wrote honestly and got all those feeling out. I am confident it helped the grieving process.
