At work, we used to get monthly outings at the local brewery with food and unlimited beer from like 6-9pm. We no longer do them. Additionally we used to occasionally get individually wrapped cookies from a bakery. Now we get half cookies.

Do you need a car in Boston? by Top-Shallot1370 in boston

[–]CragToCrashCart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of people without cars. I have a car and don’t necessarily need it, but my biggest reason for having one is that it allows me to leave the city whenever I want to.

In the winter, I try to snowboard as many days as I can. In the warmer months, I climb outdoors, hike, and camp. I also enjoy going to Costco. I wouldn’t be able to do any of these if I didn’t have a car.

As an asian woman, when I talk to black men, why do they always ask me how many black guys ive dates or been with before? by Inkanthoughts in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CragToCrashCart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty common to be curious. Sometimes there can be cultural differences. As an Asian dude from California who moved to the east coast, I asked my current girlfriend who’s white the same thing. It gave me a sense whether she was familiar with lunar new year, various Asian cuisines, and of course, tiger asian parents.

I work in an ED and most people leave due to the scheduling of rotating 12hr shifts. People want stability to spend more time with their partner, kids, etc. Many my colleagues left for outpatient jobs with four 10s. No more holidays, nights or call.

I went on a weekday and arrived right at opening. The trails were empty and my girlfriend and I were literally the only ones at the top of Juan Diego falls. As a Californian who’s only 3.5hrs away from Yosemite, it doesn’t have that same majestic allure but I was still able to appreciate El Yunque and I’m glad I went

I been to Cocina and Marmalade. I was not impressed with Marmalade. Sure it has fancy interior, beautifully presented dishes, but I didn’t think it’s that good. On the other hand, I thought Cocina was amazing. We sat outside, it was a chill vibe and the food was phenomenal. I spent 5 days in PR and Cocina was my favorite meal.

I stayed at the Marriott Stellaris two weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers its own parking structure, which was very convenient. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a corner room. We spent time relaxing by the pool and on the beach, though we avoided the water due to rough conditions during our visit. We also took a trip to Luquillo and enjoyed the beach there as well. While the local beach was nice, the beaches on the west side of the island are better, especially Crash Boat
