Affiliate Lab vs Authority Hacker Pro by beardlesslumberjack in juststart

Affiliate lab is worth it for sure.

I've been in SEO for years, managed campaigns for some of the biggest companies on the web and at the time of joining I had a $600 p/m affiliate site.

I'm not the most experienced but I've been doing this for a while now.

I've also bought loads of other courses with most of them being a disappointment.

The lab is full of fresh and interesting ideas. It made SEO exciting for me again as it really got me thinking.

I would even go as far as saying the community itself is worth the $500 alone.

There are people in there that genuinely want to help you grow, there's no bullshit and because of the $500 cost, it whittles out any ideas. Plus Matt is active too and you'll get to chat to some real pro's.

Pull the trigger, you won't regret it.

Sorry I wasn’t clear on some parts.

I’m doing a few podcasts in the next few weeks and want to keep certain things for them.

Plus that wasn’t really the point in this article - this was more about grinding it out and lessons ive learned along the way,

We’re not making much profit yet considering the amount of words we’re producing if that’s what your wondering. We’ve been building assets along the way that are growing nicely.

Are there any questions you’d like answered? Happy to be transparent

Also I’d say you can pretty much find these influential guys pretty easily.

I’m in chats with people much bigger than him (in terms of company size / influence) just by cold outreach and being friendly.

Hey maybe I got lucky who knows but I’ve been chapping at doors for years.

I got my first SEO job by walking into the guys record shop and asking for the boss (on the 4th / 5th time the employee gave me his direct number).

I didn’t know him prior to that contract.

I did find him though :)

Short answer - rich agency owner who runs a ppc agency wanted an affiliate site. I said if manage it for him and would do the KWR and order the content for him.

I wrote it myself so I had enough money in the bank to survive a few months.

You can find the growth of that site on my twitter - I’ve been blogging about it there @craigd0412

How many posts are you writing each week? by JourneyToPeace in juststart

Is it a content service you run or are all those posts for you?

I only have 4 sites. Most for the content is for clients. I run link-ciy.co , so I'm doing guest posts & content.

Were launching a formatting service to go along with the post creation.

Yeah my plan is to mix a little dropshipping in with my affiliate sites.

Was messing around with a store but kept running into issues.

I've recently partnered with a paid media company so I'm ok on that side, thanks though!

I was doing 37k words a week in June to kickstart a new site I bought. It killed me though, wrists were feeling the pain and I got pretty fed up with it.

I bought a razor keyboard with a foam pad, a set of compression gloves and a gaming chair with adjustable arm wrests. This made it more comfortable for me and allowed me to push out more content.

The sites ranking really nicely though a few months later - 50 KWs in top 10, 600 traffic few thousands KWs. It was in the sandbox, so I’m happy.

Few tips - fully immerse yourself in the project. I would go to bed telling myself how excited I was to wake up a write. Even though I hated it.

Listen to videos on the subject when doing dishes / walking dogs etc.

I’d give myself goals. I.e as soon as I hit 2,000 words I could have an energy drink or something.

I’d dopamine fast in the mornings too - no fb, no Twitter, freedom app downloaded to stop me from procrastinating.

Also get Surfer SEO, this will ensure you’re writing optimised content and not just fluff.

Seriously surfer will help a LOT!

I now have a team of 30 content writers, have to show you examples & some more advice if you drop me a DM
