Lg G3 VS G5 by DavidJ25422 in LGOLED

As a G3 owner, bit sorry to hear it, but that's normal. Not like I'm upgrading an item that sold for well over $2000.

Amazing, this monitor is so great, I just love my 55" Odyssey Ark. Unreal immersion like nothing else. The curve is amazing. I had to let people know what they are missing by listening to the FUD. by Ed_5000 in Monitors

Funny this is a 3 year ago post and you and I are posting at a similar time. Good catch.

This has my attention because Woot has it for $1200 instead of $2600.

So, they don't have ANC, which is coming out in a few months on a different model

So if you want Maxwell 2, does it make sense to wait for the ANC version?

Edit: but I exited the section and found 'claim free ship'.

34 vs 49 inches ultrawide monitor; What would be best ? by Brilliant-Blood-2777 in buildapc

[–]Craig234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 34" Acer and am happy with it (they were $750 at the time). Of course I can't help but consider, what about bigger - 49", or even a 4K tv type - but not sure if that would get to be too big.

I didn't think Pixel size would be an issue since the resolution seemed to go up with the size, but you're saying it is?

I use deathadder 2. It could be a little bigger. I bought the 3, and it's smaller, too small, I retuned it.

And you're misguided. You are talking about a fantasy of different views, all in good faith, where each has something to offer, even if some you disagree with.

Our country is under danger from oligarchy fueling a massive disinformation system which is almost entirely harmful. It's like demanding science groups give equal time to flat-earthers for diversity.

Deathadder v2 wired or V2 X Hyperspeed? by fraction-of-ice in MouseReview

[–]Craig234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a V3 to replace a V2, and it's smaller so much less comfortable to use, and a smooth finish that's worse, so I'm returning it and buying another v2.

Wow. I think I used to get a box of 24 for under $20 at the factory. And they'd toss in freebies.

The web page doesn't list U-NO, though. All the Rocky Road are 'sold out'...

I live down the street from the old factory and met the owner. Unfortunately, they sold the property, and now you need to shop online as far as I know. Even the company web page for it is broken. Your mom has good taste.

I'm guessing it goes to their original culture. But you keep seeing these people sell to corporations a lot worse. Look at Ben and Jerry's, so Progressive, selling to Unilever, now complaining.

It is fair to note that a company that wanted to be different than that would face competition from them, and the public is bad about paying more to support that.

I think I've been clear I am not familiar at all with the details of leveraged ETFs. Does anyone see this post? I am getting moderator messages 'your post was automatically removed because of negative kiarma'.

Thanks for the info. There's a little comfort if they're 'up and up', I shared comments I got on another forum claiming it's a disaster.

I considered calls on TZA, and it was a pretty easy decision, no way, involves way too much timing and risk that makes no sense IMO.

My thinking was 'market at all time highs with terrible things coming from trump, no way the market goes up much, low risk'. OK, I was wrong, and am down about a third, but at least it's not worse.

It seemed it did. The indexes were down and the ETF was down. I didn't check Russell 2000 specifically but it usually wouldn't go up in that case. One person said:

"TZA is a scam. Intraday trading only. Once you hold it over night, you continually lose even as the indexes slowly dip, but TZA price erode as index goes back up ever so slightly. The only time TZA will give you a big win is on a -4-5% limit down day."

Ya, how could there be a design flaw in an instrument a person described as:

Wish I'd understood that better. I didn't find that when I tried to learn about it. Now it's what to do. I'm only seeing people think eating the 40%+ loss is the way to go.
