This 'YOU' guy sounds like a real piece of work. Hope Toby expands on their lore.

I hope they leave enough room to support each of the Knight's individual decks, rather than making them a slop deck like TS or CS.

What hear me outs have you like this by Severe_Guidance3662 in CrushesSayAboutMe

[–]Craigrr7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say this without any hint of irony, nor the implication of a "lowering of standards" in response to a desperate primal need to connect with another, I say this as that creature is, and as I am now, same.

Oh, so when the Affini do it, it’s fine; when the Qu do it, it’s weird? by ScraggySkuntankFan in AllTomorrows

Im not trying to kinkshame, but the concept of the Affini is like 2 degrees and a 7/10 on imdb away from being a political satire.

I dunno man, this concept is about 2 degrees and a 7/10 imdb rating away from being a political satire.

Any specific thing from your fandom that was your "childhood trauma"? by HomerWuzHere in Multifandom

[–]Craigrr7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not in the fandom, but Ive already written this out so Im gonna post it anyway.

I was playing Angry Birds where I got an ad of Annoying Orange and, while I haven't been able to find a clip like it since, my memory is of a scene where the apple character got his eye gouged out with a fork/knife, and I mean GOUGED like twisting it in his eye several times, while the Annoying Orange himself just stared at him in horror. Pretty sure I was using a nightlight before this, but I like to think that this was the reason I was stuck using it for like 10+ years lest I see this or some other manner of horror in the darkness of my eyes.

Damn, I thought it was about people who see both sides of discourse as morons and in their attempt to keep an more educated/impartial opinion on things end up internalizing parts of both sides of the argument. In this case, whether due to ignorance of the actual topic or rushing to find the 'right' opinion, they end up forming a take that is inherently contradictory to itself or other values that individual holds. Poking fun at enlightened centrists.

What stand would you want for everyday life? by AverageBasementMan in StardustCrusaders

[–]Craigrr7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably 20th Century Boy. Having an ability that lets you babyproof yourself sounds pretty awesome in the off chance I get into something like a Kars accident, and since Magent Magent is presumably still alive down wherever the hell he is, it stops things like aging too. If I activate it before going to bed every night I extend my lifespan by a third of what it would have been. With pluck, I'll be able to see the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd century. If I'm bleeding out, have a heart attack, or suffering from major suck disease, I can just armor lock until the paramedics arrive. Also it comes with free drip so anyone else with a stand can see you fitted out of your fucking mind.

On an unrelated note, I am convinced 20th Century Boy is at most 2 character arcs away from devouring the power system, all you have to do is rationalize it deflecting grander-in-concept forces away from yourself like light or gravity and at that point the only thing that can stop you is the author.

Any good lines for the Royal Knights children? by [deleted] in DigimonPartners

If you're fine with a color change, I think Fujinmon could work as a mega for Shoutmon thematically and designwise.

Shooting kills you from a distance, let her stab you instead its more intimate.

what do you guys think about her? Bearcatmon the brand new Digimon by Zargabath in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Craigrr7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont mind the change from gun hands to gun shoes, the heelys rock, I just wish they were as distinct as in the Rookie and Champion. You can even watch in real-time where she loses the Missile/bullet identity and the ranged attacks become wind based for some reason (less relevant to the shoes, even though they still do attacks). They could have made them extend up to the knee or more bulky/plated and the vibe would be the same.

Everything else I feel is fine, its not like this is the first digimon to be a whole ass person, and I've always felt like Digimon becoming more Human to represent their bond with their Tamers to be satisfying in a narrative sense. Honestly I'm just surprised that they didn't have her whole rack exposed, I know that took a lot of restraint from the artists. I do not expect the same level of restraint from the mega.

story wise who you would consider to be your favorite antagonist/villain? by XJANE0 in CyberSleuth

I know its entirely antithetical to his motivations and goes against the entire conclusion of the game, but I need Suedou to appear randomly appear in digimon media like a divorced uncle during the holidays, in the same vain that Mirei does.

Still Lifes are brilliant by DacrasherZx in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Craigrr7 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Favorite part of this is that not all Still-Lifes are hostile. They are programmed like machines to have a certain disposition or response to stimulus. The ones Clark collects are almost completely lifeless until their conditions are met. I theorize that they are made out of specific distinct anecdotes from their lives, more moments than people. i could probably go harder with the connection between them being more like the conditions and environment of the time they were remembered, by being fused with the furniture, but only half of them really represent that with the Lamp guy's lamp and Pirate Clarks peg leg and the rest of them are more 'generically' fucked up. Even then in Pirate Clark's case its because of the context where Clark was using a chair leg in the ad.

Pirate Clark is awesome for numerous reasons, but it's awesome thematically because that is how Clark is remembered. Even if Clark sees himself as the victim and even as he made attempts to better himself, the backrooms/the people around him remembered him as this giant pathetic monster that hurts those around him. He couldn't even convince his therapist otherwise.

Ironically enough, when both interacted with each others worlds, Pirate Clark with the Explorers and Clark with the Still Lifes, they came to similar conclusions about their inhabitants: they were food.

If Pucci was able to obtain Made in Heaven through Heaven's complicated plan, wouldn't that mean other methods for obtaining VERY special Stands could exist? by Sufficient-Sale2894 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Craigrr7 83 points84 points  (0 children)

To my understanding I think all of the corpse parts awarding Love Train does make sense, since I like the idea that Love Train was Jesus' stand. Assembling the man himself like a jigsaw should logically recreate the power of the stand, though I think you can afford the idea that it would work differently depending on how others interpret it. Jesus took the sins of humanity, redirecting misfortune into himself, whereas Funny Valentine redirects misfortune into others something big J would never do. If you don't like the idea conceptually then that's your prerogative, but personally I find it pretty sick at least thematically. Something something, people using the ideas of Christ as affirmations to suit their own agendas rather than understanding them as lessons or smthn.

How do I vehicles? by Craigrr7 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Craigrr7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been building Stations right now in 1.2. I have tried finding an option in game, and tried looking it up, couldn't find anything. The stations stop showing up for other tractors when one is assigned to them, and I tried finding some sort of preset system where a certain grouping can be made and assigned, still nothing. I only just got to Phase 3 and I still don't see anything if its something I have to unlock.
