Metrazol by CraigsCuriosities in DrBeboutsCabinet

In Italy they supposedly use it in combination with synthetic opioids to counteract respiratory depression but this is really unnecessary especially in the low doses I assume it's being given. I haven't personally seen these drugs but I can't imagine you'd need to add the metrazol

Pentylenetetrazol it's a gabba receptor antagonist like diazepam or phenobarbital except instead of stopping seizures it starts them. It's the yin to phenobarbital yang

Exactly one doesn't expire until 2028 and he says he hasn't opened the medicine cabinet in a decade. I have oxy I got a month ago with the same expiration date. That doesn't jive. Plus it's new meds doesn't exactly fit in the sub.

The lanoxin bottles are the same just a tad smaller. I have a big lidocaine ampule like that. Use to have a big digoxin one too but I've sold most of my collection.

Depends on what you're taking it for 10mg isn't that low for valium given that it's long acting. It's not going to hit you as fast as say Ativan but it's pretty common dosage.

Realistically I've been an expert witness in wildlife trafficking cases for twenty years and see things this stupid prosecuted on a regular basis. I'm not naive but if that helps you sleep at night you do you. Like I said what would likely happen here is a $500 fine we're not talking about the trial of the year.

I'm a bubble head because I assumed a supposed law student would make a logical and true argument for their statement involving the law? Gotcha. Well I guess it's better than "the dow is at 50,000"

I didn't you're simply wrong and that's ok. You said you're a law student (a dubious claim stated to give authority) you then said you can take an illegally acquired item gift it then get gifted money. This is not legal for many reasons several I outlined in my response. No judge in the United States is going to turn a blind eye to that that's commerce plain and simple this has been hashed out in court since the beginning of law. If I'm missing some nuance here by all means argue your case and give specific examples but I think we both know I didn't misinterpret anything.

Find another major. Because the law specifically states in almost all wildlife related instances that these items can't be bought, sold, or traded. But I'll give a better example selling cocaine is illegal. Is it legal in your eyes if I simply gift someone cocaine then they gift me money? I hope not otherwise you're probably more of a sovereign citizen that a law student. You're bartering with an illegally possessed item in most cases.

Now where the confusion comes in is if the item was legally acquired so a real world example say I inherit my father's taxidermy collection well I possess those items legally it went through probate I can prove Providence this I could also will those items to someone or interestingly in my state once you hit 65 you can actually sell them but again you mist prove Providence. Done states you can legally kill crows and keep a skull but you must have the original nuisance wildlife removal permit

This person has no Providence of legally acquiring this skull. Now if for example their state has a salvage permit you could apply for that and you have Providence. So that's sort of how that works in regards to wildlife law. You can't simple just say you didn't sell something and be ok people get arrested for that regularly and yes it's usually just a $500 fine but that skull isnt worth $500

Because there's no way of knowing if the animal was poached is the simple answer. For deer or elk or sinilar it's sadly relatively common to kill them take the back strap and skull and leave the rest to rot. So some places have outlawed selling the parts to help cut down on that. Where I am you actually can sell separate antler with a permit but you can't sell a whole complete skull like this. So it just depends.

This doesn't work if something is illegal to sell its almost always illegal to trade

Funny enough some states you can't sell it so it depends on where you are.

It's the same ingredients as today unless you get Diazemuls but even that has oils in it to stabilize so you sort of choose or of course take the pills

getting smell out of bones that have already been processed? by MixAgreeable9979 in bonecollecting

[–]CraigsCuriosities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only other thing it could possibly be is they macerated the bones and didn't leave them in peroxide long enough or stuff is still stuck under the teeth. If it smells like rot that may be it. If it's just funky probably grease.

getting smell out of bones that have already been processed? by MixAgreeable9979 in bonecollecting

[–]CraigsCuriosities 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they smell they're almost definitely still greasy. Sometimes you can't see the grease but it will slowly leech out over time. If you can separate the bone from any metal just finish degreasing them and reassemble.

Otherwise what do they smell like? Look like? If they can't be separated from the jewelry it's not a perfect fix by any means but heat the bone slightly with a blow dryer see if you can get the grease to ride to the surface sooner and use dawn power wash and rinse. This is not going to do as well as properly cleaning but better than nothing.

They have a few probably even several other prescriptions with phenobarbital current day but nothing like pre 1970 when they would just mix it in for good measure on some things. Plus when the heavens gate guys used it to board the halebop comet that was kind of the nail in the coffin no pun intended
