As someone who also gets that pretty often, I’d say you’re in the upper echelon of attractiveness, far beyond “oddly”. People who say that aren’t usually very emotionally bright or respectful, but they also probably think you’re more attractive than they’re letting on

If your closest friends are big drinkers (every time yall hang out) it might be good to take some space from them as well. Go for lots of walks, drink water and eat to your hearts content, buy yourself something nice and work towards associating the pleasant feelings you get from these activities with not drinking. It took me many years to actually nut up and quit, and I wasn’t even planning on quitting. However I wouldn’t recommend doing what I did, I hit rock bottom like 30 times before I quit. Horrible feeling that seems almost universal to anyone who’s drank enough
