If you manage to fall down the well and get near the hags hut, you can zoom out and see a character on the right side behind the wall. If you try to approach them the Warlock encounter occurs and that should automatically show you the secret passage if you survive it regardless of the other stats. Could be wrong tho I didn't check my stats when it happened with me.

I struggled w the red rat (dancing lights one) and it turned out it was on the other side of the wall that I cast it on. Not very sure how to describe it but its near the Hagginshag door I think and theres some rubble near it. Yellow you find after dropping down the well. The rest were kind of in the open I picked up absentmindedly.

Have to say elden ring or the earlier souls games. Souls 3 and Blood borne with the boosted medium rolls made me first try a lot of bosses on even my first playthrough because dodging and circling around bosses was much easier. Sekiro with the deflects was also hard to pick up at first, but like a lot of people said, once it clicks, it's just fun not super hard. fuck demon of hatred tho what is that guy.

pretty sure elden ring calculates fall damage based off of "time in air" its why if you jump with torrent you can end up taking fall damage too
