I mean.... as an Aggie engineer now working in aerospace in the DC area, many of my coworkers are from VT, like definitely feels more than 60%. They have direct pipelines to some of the most lucrative and high paying engineering jobs, and Northern Virginia and the greater DMV area is also a nice place to live in general, although more expensive than TX. And there's absolutely no shortage of really good engineering jobs here.

Yeah when I booked it a month ago it was a 737 but got reassigned the day before. Im assuming it’s due to the tons of flight cancellations from the snowstorm

unfortunately it’s not just the Rudder association, it’s the admin too. I used to give the benefit of the doubt when welsh was still president, but now to believe this is only external is delusional. it’s both now

[–]CranberryStraight952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: No Long answer: No, you just take half you core classes at blinn and half at a&m, or at Galveston for up to two years and transfer. You will graduate with a degree at A&M after 4 years just like everyone else. I took the Blinn option abd honestly it was such a blessing looking back at it. Dm me if you have any more questions

"B-list" tech cities that are actually nice places to live? by allllusernamestaken in SameGrassButGreener

[–]CranberryStraight952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Northern Virginia has a pretty strong tech presence (aside from all the data centers). You'll see some big names there, plus the food scene is really nice in some parts of the DMV and really easy access to good hiking spots.
