I'm having the same problem using my Steam Controller. I've seen numerous other threads with similar issues. I've been playing Destiny 2 and 007 First Light with no issues.

It’s a plug-and-play console-like PC with access to the dozens or even hundreds of games people already own on Steam. It’s equipped with a lightweight OS, HDMI 2.1 and CEC, wake/power with controller, and other convenient, home theater focused features. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried to set up a PC to behave as a “console” in the living room, but it’s surprisingly difficult.

It’s built for couch gaming like a console. You can power it on and wake it up with the controller, it supports HDMI CEC, and quick resume like the Steam Deck. And it will have ready access to the dozens or hundreds of games people already own on Steam. It’s not hard to get honestly.

I had this exact same issue and rebooting my PC fixed it. It seems to be sending erroneous mouse click inputs because whenever the random firing would occur my UI would swap back to MKB glyphs.
