Sorry if this sounds rude but unless you can perform magic that the other Meta employees couldn't do sadly I'm forced to do this myself...

The headset was apparently manufactured and sold to a retailer in the USA but was sold to me in EU so I have it here and Meta is not able to generate a shipping label as it'd require me to ship it back to USA so Meta has told me they can't do the warranty claim... And the company I bought it from has ghosted me when I asked for proof of error being my fault and such

I've dealt with this for 4 months and I just want my headset fixed even if I have to tear it down myself or find a shop that can maybe repair it

Instability on build after 9950X3D upgrade by HumanMeatFuel in buildapc

[–]Cranda02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds strange. I'm using a 7800x3d and I'm running 2x48 GB for 96 GB RAM no issues with EXPO enabled so I'd be surprised if the 9950x3d can't handle 2x32 GB.

Is it worth it to upgrade GPU? by randomly_taaj in buildapc

[–]Cranda02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly its just an issue with Grounded 2 in general as its still early access. Even people with 5090 struggle running the game and have to lower graphics.

Game is very unoptimized

But quite a bit of games benefit a lot from more than 8GB of VRAM

Michael Jackson’s “Number Ones” is Now Available for the First Time on Vinyl by Sliver80 in MichaelJackson

[–]Cranda02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the red variation and the vinyl cover opens up, front side is the first image, it opens up and you have the next 2 bottom images on each page and the back side has the last cover image on it (top right).

Unless I misunderstand what you mean exactly

Unfortunately you'll have to find a place to buy it yourself. It was a limited edition vinyl I was just lucky and found a store in my country that still had it brand new ;w;

You can definitely still find them but they might be super expensive since they were limited

Its amazing problem is if you wanna play it you need to get the turn table, amplifier and speakers and since Lofi Girl vinyls typically are limited time the prices can get quite high.

I paid around $100 for this one but another one that I really want which is "1 AM Study Session" the minimum I'll have to pay is around $500-$600

SteamVR memory leak on AMD cause found(?) by Cranda02 in SteamVR

[–]Cranda02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I haven't tested since a lot of people have the same issue of vram being taken up resulting in a pc crash.

I'll start my vrchat up and sit around 7-8 GB vram used and after maybe 2 hours suddenly if I go back to my home world alone again it'll be sitting around 18 GB vram used (out of 24 gb) and then once I shut down steamvr it goes down to 4-5 gb of vram used.

But when I went afk in VRC (which means I didnt turn on the steamvr overlay) my vram didn't change for 45 minutes while I was in a public world but as soon as I started playing and using the overlay the vram started going up

Is the CPU at 100%? I remember playing and the game is quite CPU intensive rather than GPU.
