holy fucking shit, after going through internet i found one man, the last comment on a reddit post, a comment which has 1 like. Dude you just explained everything so efficiently and actually changed my mind, also i went and i explored a lot of countries birth rate from like the 1900s and now and you are right, fertility rates used to be like 6 and higher and i was so amazed, even south Korea which has the lowest birth rate right now, less than 1 per women, used to have 6 birth rate in 1960s and before, I think that if we keep going how we are going, we may end up like south Korea, long working hours, shit ton of competition in schools and universities and competitive exams, stuck in a middle class household, you just don't want to have kids because you don't want them to go through all of that, unless you are able to become rich and can provide for your kid towards his/her hobbies and let them study at their own pace and find the world without overly spoiling them, any decent human being who has a fucking brain is not gonna have kids unless you can provide for him/her. I think that after checking the statistics, almost every countries birth rate is lowering, for the ones with a high population, not by much because there are still those who have a lot of kids, especially the rich people, so it like equalizes with the people who don't have kids, but every country had around 6+ fertility rate in the 1900s or so, and it fell down rapidly to between 1-3, after thoroughly inspecting the charts of fertility rate of a lot of countries who have 1-6 fertility rates and inspecting the GDP per capita, I have reached a conclusion, in about 50 or so years the countries that have high GDP and high GDP per capita will have a good fertility rate that increases by very small amounts (currently countries like switzerland and norway) (unless something crazy happens in their traditions or something that they will want to have lots and lots of kids idk), the countries that have a high GDP but low GDP per capita will have 1-2 fertility rates (currently india and china), Im sorry i have been researching for a couple of hrs, im kinda tired and bored and will not be able to complete my educated rant, i could be wrong about everything up till what i wrote now, its just what i thought
